How often does DLC go on sale? And do they go on sale every time a new chapter is released?

Is there a pattern to it or anything? For example, would the DLC go on sale whenever Project W releases in like a few weeks or so? I want to get some of the licensed chapters I don't already have but $7.99 is kind of a steep price for me, and I'd much rather buy them for half that. Thanks. 😃

Switch preferably, but I imagine if it goes on sale on one platform it'd go on sale on the other platform's too
