Thoughts on this buff for Dark Theory?
What if instead of just a 2% bonus to speed, what if it also gave a 2% bonus to everything across the board. 2% increased recover rate, 2% increased wiggle speed, 2% increased luck, 2% increased heal speed, 2% increased repair speed. Just a whopping 2% to everything.

Nah, it should be 7% haste but to balance up it should not combine the speed with Hope or Blood Pact

No. U would be killing any 110% killer. If u want to do this u should AT LEAST give killers basekit shattered hope. At least, 2% is bad but if it's anything more then 4% it could be a massive problem

2% or even 4% will not help you get that vault or get to that pallet (considering how small boon area is with regards to this speed effect).
I can't see it ever be used. Maybe on RPD in library it might do something for long chases under. Still - not worth running.
But that is ok. Not every perk needs to be useful and this one has potential to be easily too good. Just forget the perk exists...

I saw someone suggest Dark Theory should add 10% to vault speed. I'm a fan of that idea.

I'd rather see them buff it by revealing the killer aura to all survivors when the killer is within the radius of the boon

I have an idea for a boon perk that is: Survivors within the range of the perk have their aura revealed to each other (Kinda like a Bond but for everybody and only inside the area). And if the killer snuffs the boon their aura is revealed to all survivors for 10 seconds.

The thing to ask yourself is, if the perk gave everyone a 2% movement speed bonus across the entire map would it be too powerful? If the answer is no then a simple buff would be remove the range restriction on the Boon. If the answer is yes, but also the current Boon is too weak because its range is too small, then there must exist a bracket of ranges where you can set that parameter and the perk will be relatively ok.
So if Dark Theory does need a buff then I think increasing the range is the way to go rather than increasing its speed bonus.

If you're increasing the range then you're going to have to make it not work with other boons or somehow differentiate the different boon powers on the same boon. That would be a nightmare for players to figure out.

I think converting Medium Vaults into Fast Vaults would be an interesting change that wouldn't buff Fast Vaults further by increasing all vault speeds.

Not necessarily, there’s no particular reason all Boons have to have the same range. And if you see both a Haste symbol and a Blessed symbol appear simultaneously on the HUD it’s from this perk.

The 2% probably clutch a lot,leading to more close whiff, but this kind of buff is very hard to verify.
Here is my idea: make Dark Theory an egoistic perk with unlimited range: you bless a totem, you get the effect map wide,but only you.

7% running speed would be much crazier than CoH. CoH is fine, but survivors gaining a 7% haste status effect within the area of such boon totems, that could become very problematic. Especially when totems like the shack totem are blessed, the killer will just have to leave the survivor everytime they go there, or they snuff the totem, but then the survivor can gain a lot of distance to you, and another survivor can easily boon that totem again.
I think buffing it to 4% could still work, but 7% seems way too much.

I think it could be a 3-4% buff. Higher than that and it could become too scary.

Here’s my idea
You gain a 3.5% haste effect when within the boons range. Your vault speed is increased by 15%. When leaving the boon area the haste is increased to 7% and it lingers for 2/3/4 seconds.
