Accessible trophies for people with disabilities.
Hello, Dear Behaviour.
I'm having a problem that I can't get trophies with friends in the DBD game. The fact is that I am disabled and it’s hard for me to play with random people, and I also like to get trophies in games. My friends help me a lot, but in this game I feel lonely and abandoned. We played on Friday the 13th The Game, I was able to get platinum there thanks to my friends. I love the horror genre since childhood, I really want to get platinums, on PS4 and PS5, in your game, but playing with random people is unattainable for me. My friends and I buy all your DLCs in the hope that we can play together and get trophies together. At the moment, I have bought all the DLS from me, except for the last four. In addition to my disability, I am also Ukrainian, you yourself know what is happening in the world now, so I try to distract myself with triple persistence and go into games. Please make it so that I can play with friends and get trophies , thus you will save my life.
I wouldn't write to your if we could make trophies . Because of my disability, we always lose to maniacs when we play together - friends try to help me, and in the end we all die. :( I tried to play as a maniac more than once, for all the time I won only one victory, I always get on people of high rank, although I am at the very bottom of the leaderboard. I have no knowledge of maps, the necessary perks, plus it is difficult for me to play on equal terms with ordinary healthy people, that's why I decided to contact you.I'm sure that I'm not the only person who wants to get all the trophies in the DBD game, but can't due to certain opportunities.I wrote you about the Friday the 13th game, there we were able to do everything trophies in the closed lobby, we had a lot of fun, I am very grateful to my friends for their patience and kindness towards me. I want to return to that time, especially now. :(
I understand your concerns that people can abuse closed games and, for example, farm currency. But, this is still happening now, when we start playing, we receive messages like farm / boost / no kill. Therefore, you can make a closed mode, without any rewards, where you can just get trophies with friends. I understand that any work should be paid, so my friends and I buy all DLC and cosmetics for real money to say our thanks to you for your work.
I understand that my problem is very specific, but I am who I am - a sad, life-shattered person who was not lucky enough to draw a short match at birth. But, I try not to despair and find an outlet in getting trophies in my favorite games, one of which is DBD.

Some of the trophies are too grindy and tedious; none are skill-based, so I don't see why you shouldn't be able to earn them in custom games. Who does it hurt if someone wants to spend hours in customs throwing hatchets?
Btw which trophies are you trying to get with friends? Are you close to Platinum?

Thank you very much for your answer and information. We are not afraid of grindy and tedious trophies, we already got platinum on Friday 13 the Game, we spent about 500-600 hours on platinum, but all this time we were together, talking, joking, having a good time.
We want to got platinum and 100% first on the PlayStation 4 version and then move on to the PlayStation 5 version. At the moment my ps4 progress is 13% base game and 8% DLC.
We tried to play in a closed lobby, where all perks are open, but trophies are not given there. :( We tried to play in public lobbies more than once, but it all ended in a negative experience, due to my disability, and we took a break, while continuing to buy cosmetic and trophy DLC.

I feel for you, but to be honest I don't know that BHVR would ever do something like that. Considering some of the tome entries they create should be against the Geneva Conventions, and it took them years to finally even acknowledge that some of the games lighting effects can cause seizures (after which they only put up a warning label instead of making the minimum needed changes immediately), I really wouldn't recommend holding out for them making any changes like you're asking.
Also, if you and your friends aren't getting the fun/accomplishments out of the game that you want (and aren't playing much as a result), I'd suggest holding off on buying any DLCs/cosmetics. One of the few things BHVR does pay close attention to is their income, and continually buying stuff from them would be misinterpreted as them doing a good job and having no need to change anything. Your money would be better served investing in another game that's enjoyable and you're able to obtain trophies.

Thank you very much for your reply. My friends and I have suspended purchases, before we immediately bought everything at once as it came out. At the moment I don't have the last 4 trophy DLCs and some of the cosmetics, my friends have even more. The problem is that we grew up on the horrors of the 70-90s and we really want to get platinum in this great game. I am currently platinum in Friday the 13th the Game, Dead Nation, with plans to play Predator: Hunting Grounds, Evil Dead: The Game and Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game.
I hope the developers will see my message and give an answer. Of course, we hope that they will hear us and make a mode for people with disabilities, where you can get trophies with friends. At the same time, you can not give any rewards for this mode, only trophies, we will buy the rest for real money.
About two weeks ago, I bought trophy dls and decided to play, this is the experience I got:
For the survivors - the game began, the killer clown immediately ran in, knocked me down and hung me on a hook, after that he threw non-stop flasks with some kind of pink gas under me. When they took me off, the clown ran after me and hung me on the hook again, also continuing to throw gas flasks under me. After taking me off the hook again, everything happened again, only I died after the third hanging on the hook. :(
For a maniac - I'm at the lowest level in the leaderboard, and I found some professions from the top of the leaderboard. As a result, they mocked me the whole game - they shone a flashlight in my face, constantly squatted, at the end they stood near the exit, pointed with a finger, squatted and shone a flashlight. I have a disability, ignorance of the attacks of the new maniac, poor knowledge of the map, no necessary perks. :(
I really want to play and get trophies, but so far it looks unattainable for me, to my great regret. :(((

Maybe I posted in the wrong section? Sorry if that's the case. 😞 Before creating the topic, I wrote to the mail, they answered me, for me to write here.

Please tell me where to write so that my problem is noticed. Thank you.

Can you give some examples of ones your having trouble with? Members of the community might be able to offer tips on good ways to complete them.

Thank you very much for your reply. Unfortunately, most of my problems are related to disability - during the game I often have seizures, during which I will just stand still or walk in circles in the game, my friends see this and take a break in the game, while random players use my helpless and either kill or run away. You can reasonably say that if there are problems, then just don't play the game. I partly agree, but I enjoy playing with friends, getting trophies and platinum. I just want to feel like a normal healthy person, at least for a while. As I wrote earlier, I am Ukrainian, I think you have all seen the news, it also depresses me, I want to forget myself in a cooperative game with friends. :( Now the choice is not very great - either play with friends and not get trophies, or play with random people, getting trophies, as well as a negative experience from the game, ridicule and humiliation due to my disability.
I grew up on horror films of the 70-90s, the maniacs from the game are like family to me, I really want to get platinum in the ps4 and ps5 versions of the game, this will make my life brighter and better.
I wouldn't even bring up the topic of private games with trophies if I didn't have a prime example of care from the developers of Friday the 13th the Game. Not only can all trophies be obtained in a private game with friends, but later the patch also added settings for private games, which made it easier to get trophies several times. We played before this patch, it took us about 600 hours to get platinum, but all this time we were happy, talking, just living. As a thank you, we bought all the cosmetic items that were on sale in the PlayStation Store.

The problem is still relevant, I would like to hear an official answer. Thank you.

I wrote to technical support, they answered that I should continue to write here, this is the only way to find out the official answer.

Still hoping for an official response.

Frankly, I think it will be difficult to obtain an answer from them.
I am sorry that there is nothing I can say, as any writing style could be misleading.
I hope you enjoy your DbD.

Thank you very much for your reply.
As long as we are alive, nothing is impossible. I will try and hope to get an official answer until the last.

I mean, not sure why achievements can't be earned in KYF lobbies, don't think any achievements specify official matchmaking only.
1 -
Probably because achievements were created as a way of extending the lifespan of a game, and if you could earn them in KYF you could probably knock them all out in under 20 hours pretty easily.
3 -
There's something to be said about the social coordination needed in order to get players to join a KYF lobby to get those achievements knocked out in the first place, but otherwise I agree.
Suppose in the end it's a matter of direction: a standalone product that can be fully experienced with a smaller audience (KYF retaining the Peer-to-peer is interesting), or something that mandates an official online only component.

There are achievement hunting sites that make finding a group pretty easy.
In the OPs example of Friday the 13th almost all the achievements can be knocked out in under 10 hours, the only real exception is playing 1000 matches as a counseler, and 1000 as Jason, so a 5 person group to unlock those achievements since each one needs 1000 as Jason is gonna take 5000 matches which is why it takes so long to 100%, even if you are boosting it to get it done as fast as possible.

Just give an option menu with all the cheevos and when you want one, you just check the box next to it. Not like they matter anyway.
1 -
cheevos should still require the action to be performed.
That being said being able to manipulate the environment to be better suited for the action to be performed is something even MMOs don't stop (EG: selling raid boss achievements via IRL currency or in-game currency)

Thank you very much for your answer.
We tried to get trophies in a mode where all perks are available, they didn’t give us anything. :( Moreover, in the description of each trophy, a condition is indicated:
- In a public match, get 4 sacrifices in a single match;
- In a public match, kill your first survivor;
- In public matches, open the exit gate 35 times as a Survivor;
- etc.

Thank you very much for your answer.
As far as I know, adding trophies and achievements to the game is a must for Sony and Microsoft. The attitudes of people towards them are different for everyone - someone ignores, someone receives, someone combines. All options are the norm. I can only speak for myself and my friends, we enjoy playing games and getting platinum in those games along the way. I am more than confident that my friends can get all the trophies in public games, but they do not want to leave me because of my disability, for which I am very grateful to them, but also sad at the same time. All we want is to play our favorite game and at the end get two platinum and 100%. The developers of Friday the 13th gave us this opportunity, they have a very big heart, we are very grateful to them. It took us about 600 hours to get platinum, all this time we gave activity to the game + bought all the cosmetic dlc for the game as a thank you. In my humble opinion, platinum and 100% in this game in private lobbies will take us 1000+ hours, if not more, because of me, of course, eh. :(

Sorry, I did not quite understand what your message is about, but thank you very much for showing interest in my topic. Have a nice day and good mood.

Thank you very much for your answer.
I also heard about such sites, but we have formed our own group, which we have been playing together for 10 years, if not more. People know about my problems and generously accept me as I am, with all my minuses and pluses, for which I am immensely grateful to them. I can't say exactly how long this game will take us, we plan to play first on ps4, then on ps5, but we can guarantee our activity in the game + financial assistance as the purchase of all trophies dlc and cosmetic dlc. Building on our experience of getting platinum on Friday the 13th, where it took us about 600 hours, here we will spend 1000+ hours in one version, and about the same in the second. Whether it's a lot or a little, I don't know.

Thank you very much for your answer.
I don't quite understand what "cheevos" is, but overall your message is correct. We want players to have the choice to play like they are now, or play with friends and earn trophies. If I can get two platinum in this game, I will be the happiest person in the world.

Whilst I appreciate the situation, there are currently no plans to make achievements obtainable in Custom Games. However, I have forwarded the information to the team, however I would add, this is unlikely to be implemented.

Thank you very much for your official answer.
I understand that the problem is not typical, and does not have an increased interest due to the very phenomenon of trophies / achievements, but we will believe and hope for a miracle in such a dark time for all of humanity. All that we can give in return - our time, our love, our appreciation and our money.
P.S. My gay friends asked me to thank you for your support, you are great fellows.
P.P.S. Have a good time a day and good mood everyone, God bless us all.
