Fellow Playstation Users (This is not Dev feedback)
I would like to add first this is not feedback meant for Devs, please can my post not be moved.
I am seeking advice from anybody who is using Playstation. I am getting the known cursor bug (aka Game Breaking Bug) in at least 3 out of 5 matches currently. Yes, if I restart my PlayStation it allows me to play a match as normal, but then it comes back.
I’m wondering if anybody who is facing this, has noticed any common denominators that may be causing it? Anything you are doing that is meaning you are avoiding it, more than getting it?
I know others on PS5 who are playing quite a bit and have only had it twice since the update Tuesday. I just don’t know what I’m doing to get it so often.
I just want to play and looking for anything that may help.

First, it's sad that we need to specify that we meant for a post to be in a certain section and not everything is feedback. Then it still somehow ends up ending up in feedback.
Second, PLEASE I WANT TO KNOW THIS TOO. The first day of the update I didn't get this bug at all. Then on Wednesday I started getting exactly what you described. You get one game without it then it comes back and you have to restart. It's so annoying.

Which PS are y'all playing on? I haven't gotten it yet (thankfully).

I am on PS5. But I know two streamers who are on PS5 and they both have had it maybe one or two times since the update. Can’t figure out what I’m doing to cause it to happen so often.

We've found what's causing the issue and have a fix on the way, but in the meantime, here's a temporary workaround:
Some tooltips in the Archives seem to be the culprit. If you end up doing something in there, you can restart your game to be safe and that should prevent the issue from occurring.

I wonder if the bug occur for all Playstations. Anytime I've seen someone get the bug they're on PS5. I'm on PS4 and haven't gotten it once. :/

I had this in 4 out of 5 games after the latest update, left it a few hours and haven't had it since, I just assumed it had been fixed

Thank you, Peanits!! I had not seen the follow up on Twitter. So, if I need to go into Archives for any reason, just restart before going into a match? I’ll try this tomorrow. 🤞🏼

I'm on PS5 and this is now happening every single match no matter what I do. I didnt get this until 3 days after the new chapter and now there's no work around. Restaring the game or my console doesn't fix it so whatever work around that was possibly discovered, is not a work around at all anymore. The game is literally unplayable and now we're being told we have to wait 11 days for it to be fixed. Ffs.

Yeah, nothing working today. I loaded up in hopes that Peanits suggestion would work and no matter what, I’m getting the cursor. I don’t touch or go into a single thing other than going ready and it happens. Restarted and this time didn’t even check my load out, straight in and happened. It’s worse.
