Swapping Loadouts as Killer during the Countdown booting me back to the Lobby
Title. Kept getting the 'Disconnected from the Host' as Killer for some reason after getting matched up against Survivors and narrowed it down to when I switching loadouts as what was causing it when I was trying to switch to a build with a counter for item heavy survivor groups. Tried quitting the game and restarting and the bug still happened.
I was playing as The Knight so I don't know if it's specific to him or every Killer but I should probably go back and check.
At least on him, if I tried to swap between my loadouts it would boot me back to the lobby/main menu.
Edit: It seems to be a universal bug; I tried swapping loadouts once I was matched up against survivors as Wesker and was booted back to the lobby/main menu too.
I also checked to see if it is a bug affecting survivors too and the answer seems to be no; didn't get the 'Disconnected from Host' error when swapping between loadouts on Leon. It's only on Killers right now.

I'm having a lot of problems with loadouts too, but it's more like they reset every single time I play a character, or swap characters, or reset my game. :/

In my case it's not loadouts getting reset, it's that trying to switch between Presets after getting matched against Survivors boots me back to the Lobby with the 'Disconnected from Host' message.

Okay I think I may have narrowed down the cause of the bug: It's the order your addons are in. I had the same addons in two preset Loadouts but in different slots. Switching between one to the other caused the 'Disconnected From Host' Error. Switching it so that Loadouts that had at least one addon in common with said addon being in the same place between all three loadouts did not cause the error.
This is all on PC.

Yep, I confirmed the circumstances that caused the bug using the Dredge. I had two loadouts both using the same addons in the same order; Broken Doll and the Field Recorder from left to right. I was able to switch between those Loadouts with no problem. As soon as I switched to the third loadout that had the order reversed with Field Recorder then Broken Doll, I got Disconnected from Host and was booted back to the lobby.
The same thing happened when I tested it with the Knight; two loadouts using the same addons in the same order; Dried Horsemeat and Map of the Realm while the third loadout was Map of the Realm and then Dried Horsemeat. No problem when I switched between the first two. As soon as I flipped to the third, however, I got booted back to the lobby.

I can confirm this is also happening on Xbox Series X.

You should try doing the same test I did above to confirm the cause, which seems to be switching to loadouts that use at least one of the same addons but in a different slot compared to the other loadout.

It's an odd bug to say the least.
I was able to replicate it on several different killers; first test was swapping between two different loadouts with the same add ons in the same order and then to the third with the order reversed.

It appears that as long as the addons are in the same order, everything is cool.
If they aren't, I guess it freaks out.

I should do a test later where I swap to a loadout with completely different addons.

Welp, over a month later and this bug is still active. Why hasn't BHVR fixed it?
