It's been broken for two weeks. At least the really broken aspect of it is.
Kindred worked ok before that, you might not be able to see the killers aura for about the first 4 seconds, but that's 100% better than not being able to see the killers aura at all.

And I'm saying it's not a significant hindrance. Otherwise people would have been complaining about it for months, and I would have noticed it in my hours upon hours of running kindred over the past few months.
You could at least still see the killers aura.
As of the most recent patch, Kindred does not show killers aura at all.
As of right now, the bug you're talking about is a non-issue, because you can't block auras that don't exist.

I've been running Kindred for 2.5 year now. Not seeing the killer's aura when someone's getting hooked is a huge issue.
You literally can't tell things like where killer is going, if killer is putting any traps (and where), if killer is camping (including insidious) etc. There was literally zero info about that in patch notes or any news so it's a bug that's making the perk pretty useless, even with open handed.

Yes, it would be nice to be able to see the killers aura.
At least before last week, you could see it after the bubble disappeared.
