We need to nerf the 9 second perk that lets killers see everyone's aura at the start
I forget what it's called but back to back games now, I spawn by myself, my teammates are together, and the killer is RIGHT next to me, I have to start the game off with a chase in a location that has no pallets. Now I know this is MMR/SBMM based, it determines which player is best and puts him by itself, let's just admit that this silly nonsense is part of the garbage MMR this game employs.
Nerfing the prk:
- Reduce the seconds to tops 5 seconds, not 9 seconds.
- the killer has to spawn automatcially on the opposite side of the map, not in the middle, not next to a survivor, none of that.
- all survivors should automatically spawn together and there needs to be a notification that shows this perk activates at he start of the game, similar to how the exposed status gives us a notification.
- For the next 10 minutes of the game, the killer cannot see the aura of anyone else no matter what perk or add on they employ.
Some combination of the above will do, this game is not enjoyable for good players with high mmr, we don't want to spawn next to the Got damn killer every single game, it's not enjoyable, I quit those games automatically.
NERF. THE. PERK. No more 9 seconds, no more starting the game with a chase due to the killer being just right next to me off spawn, none of that nonsense. It's funny, when I play killer, I spawn alllllllllll the way on the other side of the map, I never ever everever ever ever get spawned right next to a ######### survivor Behavior. It's horse #########, inconsistent garbage.
Let's also nerf the knight perk that lets killers see the aura of all people near the damaged gen, as well as the masterminds add on "helicopter stick" that lets the killer see the aura of everyone who uses a spray for 8 seconds. Anyone using these add ons needs to spawn far far far away from the survivors, let's just be honest, like, at least make it somewhat competitive, don't give killers a participation trophy win.

Lethal is hardly a big deal. You can easily make safely if you pay attention.

Yeah idk, if you're not noticing it it's because your MMR isn't high.
I just played my third game in a row with the killer automatically spawning next to me, while all 3 of my teammates are together on a gen on the other side of the map, and yep you guessed it, automatically chased. I just quit the game and I'm playing fall guys now, this game is awful.

Lethal Pursuer is fine dude - It's an aura reading perk that encourages more aura reading perks. If at any point you feel it's an issue it's probably more so an issue with the killer such as Nurse or even Blight.
If you find this perk to be problematic you probably just need to pay attention the first 30 seconds of the round more.

The issue is that I am consistently spawning right next to the killer while my teammates are across the map due to my MMR.
Either get rid of MMR, or nerf the perk. You guys fail to realize your experience, is not my experience.

I am not too worried about it tbh, my big problem as survivor is Eruption and I will continue to complain until they finally nerf this insidious perk.
I strongly recommend Distortion with the current meta otherwise assume the killer is running Lethal

Well. First of all the perk is fine.
It's supposed to work like that because it's created to gain early pressure on survivors. + Can buff other aura reading perks. So if you can't break the chase - you are not so good player that you think.
Secondly - this stupid threat. In general it's not gonna work)
Because your DCs and hook suicides would be lost between others.

your problems about that perk (which are hilarious tbh since the only killers that can gain some utility regarding that perk are the ones with mobility) have a simple solution: take DISTORTION. ez counter, ez win for you.

AFAIK that's not even how spawns work... yes, lethal can be a pain in the behind, especially when you spawn in a dead zone close to the killer. Usually spending the first five seconds getting to a safe-ish spot that usually also has a gen does the trick. If the killer beelines to you, you still gonna be in that loop by the time they're on you.
I don't like to deal with that - or aura reading perks in general - so I'm usually *that* survivor with Distortion. Immensely helpful in figuring out killer builds too. Really recommend equipping it.

Lethal Purseur is fine.
Also those nerf suggestions, yikes.

That has nothing to do with your mmr though. And no matter what if you expect lethal, you will always ALWAYS make safety. If you think other wise I have no idea what to tell you.

Distortion

Someone is a little mad from playing a game…

Thank goodness you arent on the dev team..

1. meh, not that much of a nerf
2. Has nothing to do with the perk and does sound reasonable.
3. 😂 Survivor want a tell/warning/notification for EVERYTHING the killer does/has, power- and perkvise.
4. 😂🤣😂🤣😂

As a lethal user, I kinda agree.
The perk is 7s, but it buffs itself, which is odd, or at least redundant.
I think it should be 7s in total, whether its by nerfing it to 5s or simply prevented from buffing itself.
Then add a range limitation; only survivors more than 40m away are shown. This way oddly close spawns can't take advantage of it, or fast killers who can cross that distance in under 7 seconds.

Take the anti-info Perk Distortion if you want to reduce the impact of Killer information perks.
The only nerf I can agree with is making the duration of Lethal match the duration of Distortion.

This post cant be real. What are those suggestions?
10 minutes withouth aura reading? Most games dont last that much xD

I'll try to clear up a few misconceptions here...MMR has nothing to do with spawn points, it just does not work that way.
Also, making survivors spawn all together - as a survivor that would be a nerf, it's a lot more beneficial for survivors to spawn individually around the map to start putting pressure on gens, which is why experienced survivors will often leave the area if someone uses a Shroud where everyone spawns together.
Not having auras for 10 minutes is pretty much all of the match time, that's very extreme!
If you're concerned about Lethal Persuer at all, then you do have perks that can counter it as a Survivor - Distortion for example, and you can normally get to an area with loopable spots prior to getting found by the killer.
I actually think it's quite a healthy perk myself, and I would much rather play against Killers who are running chase/information perks rather than than 4 slowdown perks, it makes the game much more fun to my mind.

If Lethal Pursuer is an issue for you, consider running Distortion.

Distortion does very little for me vs. lethal because I spawn with teammates. When the killer goes after them, they tend to find me as well.
Which is fine. It's just odd how my experience contrasts with OPs of spawning alone and getting singled out. I'd much rather spawn by myself.

Nah it happened way too many times in a row to be a coincidence. Once or twice then sure, but 3 times in a row with killer spawning right next to me and chasing me off rip? Lol nah, there's something dirty there, only explanation is MMR based spawn points, other games do it as well.
It's awful. MMR is not just about who you match and who gets put on your team these days.

Bring Distortion if aura reading is that much of an issue for you. Survivors also have a multitude of perks that allows them to see the killers aura (Fogwise, Alert, OoO, you even have the wallhack addon for keys). And I don't really believe that you are high mmr if you are complaining about the killer bringing aura reading perks. Like it should be expected from players in high mmr what negates aura reading.

So... Behavior basically tells you that you are wrong and you still don't believe it? Honest question buddy: who would you even believe if not even the officials of the game you are complaining about? XD

If your only issue is spawning next to killer, don't even spend perk slot for Distortion just use Vigo's Shroud. Problem solved.

nerf this, nerf that, the killer must be at the other end of the map, the killer must be behind the map, the killer must not be afk, the killer must not camp and tunnel, the killer must not use perks on antigenrush, god, how to play with you?
Why shouldn't the killer be able to see everyone at the beginning if the survivors at the beginning can repair the generators? Let's make a fair compromise then, the generators are closed at the start of the match for 90 seconds

I have 2 solutions if Lethal Pursuer is such a problem for you.
1. Use that shroud offering which let's you start the furthest away from the killer as possible.
2. Use Distortion.
3. Just expect the killer has the perk. Walk to the right, count to 11 (yes LP is 11s long, not 9 since it buffs itself) and then run the other way. Sprint Burst is a good help here too.
Lethal is fine. It's one bit help at the start and let's you see all auras 2 seconds longer. Your idea to make the perk block auras for 10min is absurd. That's 80% of the match.
Nowhere to Hide is fine. Maybe they need to change the fact that the aura reading zone moves with the killer which can be "abused" by Nurse, Blight or Oni.
And Helicopter Stick? Really? Of all aura reading addons you choose this one? Wesker get's killer instinct anyway when you use a spray. It just makes the info more specific. The killer instinct hides the aura mostly too. It is good, but not as amazing as other easier to trigger aura reading addons like that for Bubba (just needs to rev his Chainsaw), Blight, Plague or Oni. Myers aura reading comes with drawbacks and is not enhanced by LP anyway.
Edit: only the mirrors. Shards are enhanced because they have a duration.

Distortion gives you 10 seconds of no scratch marks when it blocks aura reading. You can simply just run away from your teammates.

Sounds like you never heard of a Survivor Perk called Distortion, it helps you counter Lethal Pursuer and all kinds of nasty Aura Reading perks that buff it.
If you do not like it so much, just learn to focus on the first 30 seconds of the match. If the killer happens to find you, you should book it and be near a loop with a pallet anyways. If you are lucky after first 10 seconds, you should only hide in a locker when the killer is getting close by Terror Radius. Stealth killer is not a good idea, as they will listen to you and think like you.
Also, if you have a problem with aura reading; he is some tricks to help combat it if you don't want to run Distortion or any aura blocking like off the Record.
Nowhere to hide: Do not be anywhere near 24 meters of the generator the killer is kicking. If you can hear/see the killer close to you and about to kick it, move far away from them.
Barbecue and Chilli: hide in lockers for more then few seconds, just before the hooking happen.
Nurse's Calling: Don't heal, unless you are certain the killer isn't even near you; unless you are running Boon:Shadow Step/CoH combo.
Awake Awareness: If the killer is Carrying a Survivor, and possible running Starstruck too; you can guess that he as seen you in their terror Radius.
Bitter Murmur: if you happen to be found by the killer while hiding when a gen is pop and fixed.
Blood Warden: That perk that block open exits gates, as the additional hidden benefit of revealing any Survivor aura inside Gates. (Inside gates, but not outside of it)
Darkness Revealed: Don't go anywhere near lockers by 8 meters.
Deerstalker: You need to be slug the whole time and be close to the killer.
Discordance: (Not affected by aura reading, but worth mentioning) Do not work on gens with other Survivors together, even if prove Thyself is in play. The Killer getting close to you, probably is running it.
Gearhead: Don't do Great Skill Checks, not a common perk to see; but if they find you; it probably this or some other aura reading perk.
Grim Embrace: If you are the obsession when the killer has hook all 4 of you at once. Then you know why.
Hangman's trick: If you are a sabotaging or hiding close to the Hook the killer is Carrying some other Survivors; you know why.
Hex Face the Darkness: If any Survivor gets injured, and you happen to scream why outside the Killer's terror Radius; you can be he seen you. Also, it is a hex Totem, so you can choose to cleansed it.
Hex Retribution: Don't Cleansed and Bless any totems, Hex Perks; and if by chance you did; be prepared for 15 seconds of being detected!
Hex Undying: If you happen to be standing near any Dull Totems (totems that is not lit); you can be seen by the killer briefly.
I'm all Ears: Don't fast vault in chase or near the killer; unless you have to.
Lightborn: Don't ever used flashlights!
Nemesis: Don't Stun the killer by any means, and if you did and you happen to become the obsession; you are revealed for a few seconds.
Rancor: if you can see the Killer's aura when a generator is done; and everyone can. You can suspect he is running this perk; but also be careful when the Last Gen is done; especially if you are the obsession, as you are easily instant down and moriable!
Scourge Flood of Rage: Be careful when unhooking or other unhook Survivor in general; the killer may have already hook that Survivor on a certain hook and get valuable free aura reading on all Survivors for brief time.
Shattered Hope: If you are a Booner (you like using Boon Perk, especially COH) and the killer not only stomp your totems but destroy it; while you are close by! You should no better then to stay close.
Territorial Imperative: Don't go into the basement at all, unless you need to save a Survivor. Definitely better go in there when the killer is near but not too close. Weak perk that is not common!
Be aware that all of these perks that I listed to you, have pretty situational uses; and if you refuse to counter with perks like Distortion, Off the Record, or even used Object of Obsession to see the killer revealing you; you should always react and be more aware of what the killer is possible running and be thinking of a plan to avoid detection or reacting to the Killer's approach. Other words, get good at chase and looping; be constantly aware of the Killer's perks and location, and do not complain about how strong their build is and asking for unnecessary nerfs!

I am aware of how distortion works, thank you. Unfortunately most killers seem to have eyeballs and they spot me running. Before distortion had infinite tokens I advocated for it to have an small AoE but I no longer think that's necessary.

When did it have infinite tokens?

Sounds like you really hate aura reading.. ever heard of distortion?

If Mandy is telling you this (who is part of BHVR team) and you don't wanna believe it, then idk what to tell you dude
