Survivors should not be able to flashbang the killer when a killer is facing a wall.
As the title reads, if you place your camera firmly into a wall, there is NO REASON why a survivor should lose collision with you and get a bang save. When the killer is picking up a survivor, if another survivor is lingering for the flashbang save, they can lose collision when the killer picks up and drop their bang, getting a killer-grasp rescue. Now that flashbangs/flashlights have all the skill eliminated from getting saves, losing collision with the killer when he faces a wall should also be eliminated.
It is very poor design that you cannot hard-counter a sneaky survivor with a flashbang by staring at a wall. I mean, your face is literally in a wall. What the hell else are you supposed to do?

I'm with you on losing collision and the flashlights, but I feel like the flashbangs (if placed right and not from loss of collision) make sense even when facing the wall. One is a beam that, realisticly, would need to be within the los of the Killer and the wall would obviously stop it. The other is more of an explosion that is a mixture of noises and lights; it's arguable that despite staring at a wall, these should/shouldn't blind.

Okay, but flashbangs also shouldn't be countered by sticking your camera up or down. They also shouldn't make more noise when hitting the ground than they do when exploding.

Trying to make sure no one is near, i know can be risky but so are flashbangs, unlike flashlights you need to expose yourself a lot more and can't use them that much, since missing a FB means having to work on a gen again.
More times than not, I've seen ppl getting hit instead of saving the teammate 😂
Like "Devour hope" (not the effect but the feeling) it feels great when it works, but most of the time you won't see its full potential.
Fun perks but...
Edit: misspel

Yeah let me just hunt around for thirty seconds while the surv I downed crawls under a pallet. Then someone sprint bursts in and saves anyway.
It's obviously untenable. Why even attempt this argument? Incredibly silly.

Why does it need a tit for tat? Losing collision is goofy as hell. The killer should be able to protect their hard-fought down with good positioning. Full stop.

Definitely well said. I am fine with flashbangs being incredibly easy now. Sure, they're making the game more and more casual. Fine. But losing collision with a killer and getting a bang save when he's clearly facing a wall is just inconsistent with pre-established rules. Want to avoid a flashlight? Outplay it. Look at a wall, be weary of your surroundings, etc. Want to avoid a flashbang? Search the area thoroughly while the survivor's teammates skulk around, giving your slug enough time to crawl to a pallet, opening YET ANOTHER WAY they can be rescued from your grasp.

Not sillier than spending thirty seconds looking for that survivor who can't run 😂
And if they are smart enough to use the perks FOR that save, so be it. Sometimes you'll lose, accept that already.

Why nerf the worst item in the game though? It's not just positioning, but also timing.

Anything with no counter should not exist. Moreover phasing inside the killer does not seem like an intended effect of flashbang. The timing is trivial after the buff they have recently.

Honestly I'd advocate for flashbangs to work within a range no matter where the killer is looking. It's only 1 charge for the item, the timing is extremely difficult (because of its very short range you need to get close to the killer), and the flashbangs are difficult to farm with the perk.
It can be countered by just not picking up a survivor ifother survivors are nearby?
I don't see you complaining about pallet saves. It's the same.
