I am still a fan of the idea of basekit unbreakable BUT with a caveat
It should only ever work on one survivor in the event there are only two left and the killer slugs for the 4k.
I understand the hatch mechanic is the cause but realistically I can't see this being removed and I doubt it will be.
However forcing players to potentially spend 4 minutes lying on the ground slugged is a terrible mechanic to allow to continue in your game. Of course you get those people who will come out with the usual 'it's only 4 minutes' nonsense but an entire match can pretty much be over in a minute or so more in the worst cases.
So the slugged survivor should either have the option to concede so they can be insta-sacrified to move on to their next match and let the killer and last survivor fight it out with hatch RNG, or if the killer doesn't pick up the slugged survivor in 30 seconds then basekit BT activates and they can pick themselves up.
Oh and nerf Eruption please and thank you lol

I'd rather they rework hatch so the only smart strategic decision on the killer's part isn't to slug the third for up to 4 minutes. It also incentivizes survivors to hide and do nothing until the others die, which is against the rules too.

I totally support that idea too as the hatch is the main reason killers slug for the 4k which is just a boring waste of time for all involved

It seems part of the reasoning for the base UB is to deal with three and even all four survs slugged, ignoring why the survs got into such a fix. Your suggestion doesn't address those situations as well, so that's why I do not think they'll make your changes happen. Just my opinion though.

Which is why I have requested a 'concede' option many times... so that you can choose to just move on when clearly the match is over. It would also remove the ability for toxic killers to bleed an entire team out as you can all just concede and move on.
It blows my mind that they still allow a mechanic that forces players to be stuck unable to do anything for 4 minutes with no way to move on to a match you can actually play. Suggesting people run Unbreakable constantly isn't really a solution, nor is the laughable 'advice' I have had that I should run No Mither lol

Well, how could they rework the hatch in such a way that slugging for the 4k is not an effective strategy?

More or less what I'd prefer too.
Instead of all survivors having the ability to pick themselves up at any time (with all the issues that comes with), it should only activate when all survivors are down.
When there are no survivors left 'standing' any survivor has the ability to pick themselves up from the dying state. So whoever has the most recovery progress will likely get up. At which point one survivor will be 'standing' and it'll be inactive again.
This prevents 'slugging for the 4K' whether it's at 4 survivors or the final 2, but doesn't prevent regular slugging as a way to apply pressure throughout the course of a normal game.

Yeah exactly.
I totally understand slugging as a way to create pressure but this slugging for the 4k thing is crazy and has to stop. Let the killer and the last survivor fight out RNG rather than having some poor sod bleeding out on the ground unable to do anything

The slugged survivor in a slugging for the 4k situation should be allowed to concede and move on, however when they do both remaining parties would be notified and the slug remains in the game as a husk and the game proceeds to its natural conclusion with bleedout timer finishing out normally leaving the killer still able to complete the 4k if they get the other survivor.

Idk i just want them to do something to prevent killers wasting 4 minutes of my time because they want to get 1 more skull in the endgame screen

Sure why not?
At least it doesn't leave a real person stuck in a game that is over but they cannot leave from

Yeah I agree, I don't really care what they do I am just don't want to have to waste my time being slugged for 4 minutes and would rather give them the sacrifice points and I will move on to a match I can actually play (rather than being stuck on the ground).

This would be fine too as long as for all intents and purposes for both bp and pip score it counts as me hooking them then I have no issue with them leaving and the game spawning hatch, slugging for the 4k is an essential part of the killer adept alot of the time.

Yeah I understand the hatch mechanic is the underlying issue here too, but since that is unlikely to be leaving I think its time to make changes so players aren't stuck immobile in a match for 4 minutes.

I have a feeling that basekit unbreakable is going to be introducing more than just that. It might sound unlikely, but I think that change is also going to come along with changes to how healing works. I can see medkits being drastically buffed, but medkits are your only source of healing.
It's a wait and see, but I don't think unbreakable basekit will be all they change

Realistically, and considering how DbD players can find a way to subvert everything, with that suggestions, slugs for the 4k would still happen. The killer would try to locate both survivors and slug repeateadly until they either get the final mori, or one eventually bleeds out. So, if everything, those situations would get dragged out even more.
Imho, the better solution, when it's down to two survivors, would be to give the option to the slugged one to bleed out at double rate. But I'm sure someone would find out a way to subvert that as well.

This is why I have been pushing for the option to 'concede' if you are the slugged survivor. So then your character gets auto sacrificed and you can leave the killer and last survivor to fight out hatch RNG and you can move onto a new match
