Blindness should not affect seeing the killer aura
I know that technically it should be included, but perks like Fogwise get completely useless when the killer has Fearmonger. You can't use that perk at all if the killer uses Fearmonger. other perks like Kindred are not rendered completely useless. I know the perk is a bit hardcore, seeing the killer after a great skillcheck, but nevertheless there should be a chance to use it nonetheless

It’s almost like some perks counter others.

And fogwise being countered by a status condition that removes your ability to see auras is a problem why?

Wait, you mean to tell me some perks exist to counter others? Say it ain't so!

Ok but only if distortion doesnt block seeing a survivors aura.

Yea it should effect killer auras. You’re wanting to nerf Blindness as a status effect which is in most cases already quite weak and undertuned. Blindness as a status effect needs buffs.

So, um, should hindered not affect movement speed?
90% of blindnesses use is preventing the survivor from seeing the killers aura.
If you make it so blindness doesn't affect reading the killers aura, it will be completely useless against SWF(as they can tell each other where the hook is), which is what you want I guess.
Blindness is already a crappy status effect, it doesn't need to get worse!

Yeah lets make Blindness..... well not blind

Actually it's mainly used so Survivors on Hooks can't see other survivors

That's...literally part of the point of Blindness.

That is the only reaaon a killer would choose to employ Blindness...

It absolutely should. It would be extremely weak without, and Blindness is already underrated as is.
It's okay that some perks counter others. Fearmonger isn't overwhelming otherwise, or even played that much.
Saying killer aura should be seen through blindness because you have a perk for it is a bit like saying you should be able to heal through Broken if you brought a medkit against a Plague, or be able to DH through exhaustion against a Legion.

It is?
As a 1k hour killer main I've never gotten any use out of it that way.
They just look at the black bubble and remember where the hook is, survivors have brains too.
