Can we please get an option to hide all hook/survivor charms. Simple toggle on and off in menu.
I personally don't like all the bright and silly charms in the game myself and find them kind of distracting and take me out of the horror immersion. If there was a way to hide them on an individual level I think that would be cool.

No.
See, the thing about character customisation in an online game is that it's also a lot about communicating stuff to other players. Maybe just "hey I like these charms", maybe "these things are important to me", maybe "here's a seasonal collection", or even just "look how long I've been playing!"
So, the visibility of charms and other cosmetics is as much about the other players as it is about you. You'll just have to live with it (especially when they get tied to paid purchases--no way are BHVR going to let you block that).

If is important to someone else that's fine they will still see it but to me that stuff is not. I feel like as an individual it would be nice to have the option to see none of them.

It's kind of like asking for other people's clothes to turn into plain jumpsuits when you look at them because it doesn't matter to you.

Who's gonna tell op about all the other cosmetics that are bright and flashy and can't be turned off

At least it’s not about one specific charm this time…

So, it's the charm on the hook that breaks your immersion, and not the dwight wearing an elf skirt in the bike helmet?

You're going to look at my gay bird snuggling Gnome Chompski and you're going to like it.

Why? In most horror movies killers collect silly stuff as well. I personally love them, silly little trinkets my GF snatched from dead survivors :)

Just use loadouts. They work for cosmetics and charms aswell. Only for you ofc.

Seeing how so many folks, myself included, use the Pride Charms on Hooks/Survivors....hmmm. 🤔. Also this game is as much as a Horror game as Saw is a scary horror franchise.

Only if I can remove Feng's "cosplay" outfits from my matches. Those break my immersion WAY more than charms do.

NGL surprised to see such negative energy towards this potential option.

They are all equally out if place 😊

How do you even notice charms in a match... I'm stressed out enough running from the killer / running to survivors that charms which are literally dangling from their hips / from the hooks are the LAST thing i'd even notice. They're tiny on survivors. How much of your matches do you stand staring at the charms on hooks?

I like to use the glowy ones on hooks, helps make sure I don't miss them at point blank.

My favourite type of forum comment is one which references a very specific niche moment that not everyone knows about.
Like you can infer what it's about very easily but you really had to be there in the moment.

I mean it’s the single most iconic thread I ever made on these forums.
I still think about it a lot.
one specific comment in particular

Understandable

But what will you do with 85% of rift items then?

Since this is only about what you can see as a player and does not affect anyone else in a negative way, I support more options.

Blood points and real cosmetics

Filling up 80 tiers of actual cosmetics would take way too long
More BP is nice but equally boring. I’d rather them keep charms but remove all the common recolour versions
