Helping very weak killers

Here you can find some ideas how to help very weak killers to make them slightly better.

DEMOGORGON

I'd love to see Rat Liver added to his basekit. ( common addon increases his movement speed while charging Off the Abyss by 3.5% )

TRICKSTER

Killer is so cool, pity that he is probably the weakest one so maybe after 8 seconds of not being hit by a blade survivor has to mend out of them that takes maybe 1.25 or 1.5 seconds each and his main event no longer runs out of the time once charged.

OR make him 4.5 m/s

WRAITH

His mains will no longer exist after nerf until COH is removed so just delete this perk and this killer will have more breathing space.

HILLBILLY

Remove overheat mechanic

TRAPPER

Remove COH and this killer will do 100% better

TWINS

Maybe thanatophobia should recieve changes like it was before 4% penality to healing, repairing sabotaging per each injured survivor so twins will benefit from this perk again

LEGION

Those thana changes would make them better

Half of these Killers aren't even weak.

Like, Billy and Demo aren't top tier, but they're completely serviceable

Demo is not a weak killer my dude. It can effectively 3 gen pretty much any gen setup as long as 2 gens are next to each other. Eats up pallets rapidly and even survs who are amazing at running chase can get caught off guard with the post portal stealth and a well placed shred.

I run a farming build with rotten pumpkin and rats tail. 2 dead perks and I still end up getting 4ks. If you use the iri addons it's practically an I win button. Don't get me wrong a lot of people suck with demo, but once you get how to use it right. It's an amazing killer

I'm hesistant - because I do see all these killers, some more often than others (been a long while since Twins and Billy) --- and they tend to do pretty well. Then I remembered that, safe for Legion, I only ever run into them with some of their strongest builds possible.

So, yes, I do think they need changes so that they don't need their strongest builds to be able to compete ---- but at the same time these strongest add-ons need to be reworked as well, as they would be way overtuned.

Legion doesn't need a buff, Legion needs a rework (again). - If a good chunk of the killer concept is to be as annoying as possible it should not be a concept.

--- And lastly; changing an entire survivor perk to help one killer out is a terrible idea since that weaker killer that is helped benefits just as much from it as those stronger killers/builds that make it necessary for survs to bring certain perks in the first place.

Add-ons, sure. Basepower. Sure. - Perk changes... not without looking at each and every other killer and perk.

I hard disagree about Demo. Something is very off with him these days, and I have a feeling that something from 6.1.0 wasn't properly implemented there. I think it has to do with Shred.

Pre 6.1.0, I was kicking butt and taking names on Demo. Now he's probably my weakest killer.

Demo...I'd rather see Shred reworked a bit to make it less clunky. Going from Wesker to Demo is like shaving with a razor and then trying to shave with a butter knife. Or possibly a squid.

The issue is that you need to charge for distance - but at some point they made it so if you go from a charge to a shred too soon, it fails.

    I'd do the following:

    • Shred charges 50% faster (as in, you can fire a full distance shred a lot faster)
    • Missed shreds or collisions recover 30% faster. This is the core issue with Demo, imho: Shred is incredibly punishing to use if you compare it to the linear gap closer of a lot of other killers.
    • Rework the crap addons to not be crap.

Trickster...eh. Another killer the devs don't seem to know what they want to do with.

Wraith - he's not the strongest, and could maybe do with a small buff to his 'coming out of stealth' speed, but he's also far from bad.

Billy - I don't know if it's overheat so much. He just needs some general love, especially in his addons.

Trapper - this killer just needs a complete overhaul.

Twins - see Trapper. So much about this killer makes zero sense.

    Legion is 100% fine.

They are playable but their standing in a tier list does not reflect their performances in the average match. Both have incredibly easy and intuitive counterplay and mediocre to bad addons with huge map dependance on their powers. They do need at least some small changes to make them a bit nicer to play.
