REWORK: Hangman's Trick [Killer Perk]

Good afternoon people!

Today I'd like to share my idea for a remake of Pig's "Hangman's Trick" perk.


The pig is my favorite killer and I thought that with this idea I could make a good change in the game and in the character's perks:


Main reason:

According to the site "nightlight.gg" (site that shows the percentage of perk uses), this perk is currently the least used in the game, used only in 0.07% of matches.

The reason for this is probably the fact that its perks are awful compared to other perks in the game.


Let 's rework!


Current perk:


Unlocks potential in your Aura-reading ability and your ingenious modifications to alert you of tampering.

Gain a Loud Noise Notification whenever a survivor begins sabotaging a Hook.

While carrying a Survivor, see the aura of any Survivor within 2/4/6 meters of any Hook.

Rework:

His bloodlust makes something come to life, possessing a hook modified by his artistic and perverse mind.

Start the game with 2/3/4 tokens.

When approaching a hook, hold the action button for 40/35/30 seconds to corrupt it, each modified hook will cost 1 token.

The evil hook has the following properties:

  • Prison

Taking a survivor off the hook takes twice as long.

  • No escape:

Survivors can no longer try to escape alone

  • Evil contraption:

The corrupted hook cannot be sabotaged or knocked down by any perk/item.

  • Silence:

The thing prefers to play with its victims alone and will only activate if the killer is at least 24 meters away.

(No bubba, you can't use this perk for camping.)


1st Stage:

  • Agony:

Trapped survivors will have to do skill checks regularly which are getting harder and harder for the thing not to hurt them, advancing the sacrifice.

  • Pain:

Any survivor who tries to save his companion will have to make a difficult skill check, if he misses he will lose a life state and his companion trapped in the hook will be freed, but will suffer the mangled effect.

(If the saving player is already injured and misses, the Deep Wound effect will be applied to him)

  • Thirsty:

The survivor will be sacrificed:

3/6/9% faster than normal.


2nd Stage:

  • Same as the 1nd, but now:

- Now skills checks are even more difficult.

- If the survivor who saves the prisoner tries to free him and misses the hard skill check, he can be knocked down instead be inflicted by deep wound status.

The hook corruption animation could be the same one used to remove a boon totem, as this is not so relevant, however it would be really cool if the modified hook was different, with torture tools coming out of it and the classic laugh every time for someone to miss a skill check.
