While this would be good for low tier Killers, this would just let high tier Killers snowball easily.

why? elaborate please.
which killers?
in what way would they snowball?
if it's something minor i can adjust it.

What is stopping an Alch. Ring Blight from throwing on Lethal Pursuer and the offering that makes all 4 Survivors injured from absolutely destroying a team at the start of the match?
Or what is stopping a Nurse from destroying an entire team at the start of the match using some aura reading?
Both of those Killers already have the World Records for the quickest 4Ks in the game (56 seconds for Nurse and 1 minute, 15 seconds for Blight).
While it is a good idea to help out weaker Killers like Onyro or Wraith, you need to realize that anything you provide them is a tool for stronger Killers to use.

Okay. Fair enough with lethal pursuer. Hmm…
okay how about this then.
instead of losing a health state what if it were instead players start the trial exhausted?

That would basically just only counter Sprint Burst and make the first chase piss easy (but Survivors would recover from Exhaustion by the time your second chase starts). I think the Survivors being injured idea could work if Blight, Nurse, and Spirit were not so strong in their current state (basically requiring a nerf); an alternative could be forcing the Survivors to spawn closer to the Killer and within closer proximity to one another (for easier pressure).

That’s already a thing though. For survivors anyway

Yes and the only Killer addon version of that spreads them apart... which is unironically horrible for Killer.
You want Survivors be bunched together, since you are actively preventing multiple Survivors from doing their objective by pressuring them. And also spawning them closer to the Killer would be helpful for weaker Killers, but stronger Killers would already have that type of pressure anyways so it wouldnt matter to them.
