Huntress Teachable Buff Ideas
Taking this idea from another thread, partially using ideas suggested by @Witchubtet for Territorial Imperative.
I thought about it and may have a solid idea for a rework of T.I. that stays true to its premise. It adds two features, one is just a bit of Hangman's Trick, but the second may be the clincher:
Scourge Hook: Territorial Imperative
* The Aura of a Survivor entering the Basement or moving within 2/4/6 meters of any Scourge Hook when you are at least 32 meters away is revealed to you for 3 seconds.
* Hooking 2 different Survivors on a Scourge Hook gains 1 token
** At any normal hook, consume 1 token to convert it into a Scourge Hook, deactivating an already active Scourge Hook elsewhere in the Trial, chosen at random.
Don't take the numbers too seriously. I'm using Hangman's Trick's distance for the Scourge Hook aura read. I figured keeping the cooldown might be too much. Not sure if the tiers should be the aura distance or the number of Survivors hooked, but I'm inclined to keep it at the distance. The core idea is it offers a way around one of the core issues with Scourge Hooks - the RNG of their placement. You could still get screwed by RNG depending on what Scourge(s) deactivate, but it gives you more control than you have.
Also, since we're on Huntress perks, here's an idea I've had for a while now and once previously posted for Hex: Huntress' Lullaby. It basically flips Huntress Lullaby and gives it Thrill of the Hunt rules.
Hex: Huntress Lullaby
Start with 5 Tokens, 1 for each Totem remaining in the environment. While Hex: Huntress Lullaby is active the time between the warning sound and any healing and repair skill checks is shortened, depending on the number of tokens.
** 5 Tokens: disables the Warning sound.
** 4 Tokens: shortens the time between the Warning sound and the Skill check by -56 %.
** 3 Tokens: shortens the time between the Warning sound and the Skill check by -42 %.
** 2 Tokens: shortens the time between the Warning sound and the Skill check by -28 %.
** 1 Token: shortens the time between the Warning sound and the Skill check by -14 %.
Survivors receive a 2/4/6% Regression penalty on Failed Skill Checks for Repair and Healing actions.
The Hex effects persist until its Hex Totem is cleansed.
The idea is to turn Huntress Lullaby into an early game perk rather than a ramp-up perk. The Thrill of the Hunt token system is to keep it from being the kind of beginner trap that caused OG Hex: Ruin to be reworked by allowing for the ability to reduce its effect for any totems removed from the trial, rather than just the specific Hex. Again, don't take the numbers too seriously, I"m just using the existing ones while knowing there could be room for tweaking
Not sure what to with Beast of Prey yet, though the simplest thing might be "the Undetectable Effect lingers for so many seconds after Bloodlust is lost."

Now we just need to figure out how to get Beast of Prey to be decent. Most Beasts try to tire out their prey as they chase them… perhaps an exhaustion applying perk? I wouldn’t know what would cause it but it could help against the current Metas.

Dead hard counter, not bad really

That could work. There's even a similar Huntress addon so it works in terms of making addons with effects similar to the Killer's teachables.
Beast of Prey
When you damage a Survivor while under the effect of Bloodlust, that Survivor becomes Exhausted for 6/8/10 seconds.
I'm using Sceptic Touch's numbers for the Exhaustion.
If that's not enough maybe add in an effect like "You enter Bloodlust x% faster" (I'm thinking 10% or 15%) to go along with it.

Agree, but I think changing it in any way will prompt BHVR to remove the hunting BP bonus, as that's the main use of it right now with the little that do use it

I honestly wasn't thinking about the BP bonus one way or the other. That said, if they can make the perk appealing to use w/o the bonus, that's not necessarily a bad thing such that losing the bonus would be a loss.

Beast of Prey could gain a token for each level of Bloodlust and affect the chase somehow.
- Token: Break the next pallet x% faster. Token/Bloodlust resets to 0.
- Tokens: The next pallet to stun you breaks instantly. Tokens/Bloodlust resets.
- Tokens: The next pallet dropped in chase instantly breaks. Tokens/Bloodlust resets.

For Beast of Prey, what I'd rather see is the following.
After being in chase for 20s, Beast of Prey activates.
Beast of Prey grants undetectable until a survivor is damaged by any means.
Beast of Prey has a cool down of 50/40/30 seconds.
So... kinda like Trail of Torment but activated by being in chase.
