Pinhead QoL tweak - Hostage taking

Howdy,

SUMMARY: Twice tonight I have gone against 2 separate Pinhead players who have run more or less the exact same build and taken the game hostage for 20+ minutes, and I've played 6 matches tonight.

PROBLEM: The build, put simply, is literally anti-fun deranking BS. I will not elaborate on the exact build here, because this community is easily toxic enough to see this and start spamming the build. But it relies on Pinhead being able to completely block survivors from picking up th Lament Configuration with his body and then going afk to force a game-long chain hunt. Paired with other perks that can achieve delay from unaddressable perks, this creates long slogs trying to avoid chains while doing generators with the killer having gone to make dinner and still hindering us.

COMPLAINING: My team did not grasp what was happening and 2 of them for over 20 minutes ran in circles in front of our last Pinhead while my other teammate did gens and I desperately tried to body block chains.

FIX: This is VERY easily fixed by either increasing the radius at which the Lament Configuration can be picked up or simply ending chain hunts after a sufficient duration has passed with nobody picking it up. I'd personally prefer to lean towards the former, as it doesn't make Pinhead's power able to be utterly ignored to just focus on gens. But something needs to be done about this; ideally before it becomes a widespread tactic to derank and ruin people's limited gametime at night during the week.

Thanks.

It's not really taking the game hostage if the game can in fact end.

I would consider it as being taken hostage when you are actively making concluding the match extremely difficult through unintended means and not even remotely trying to play. Would you consider it acceptable to somehow body block 3 survivors in a corner and just wait for the 4th to finish gens? One guy could progress the game, it was technically able to be finished. Or would that largely be taking the match hostage? Yes, it's an extreme example, but had that one individual and I not found a solid method of... MOSTLY... dealing with the problem, it could have very well gone on beyond our 20 minute mark. My teammates most assuredly didn't grasp what they needed to do in either match.

And regardless of whether or not you consider it to be taking the game hostage or not, this is not acceptable play as it is obviously deliberately done to derank and make people suffer while doing so. There is no game to be played for these matches, just chain dodging when playing a match like that. If they had actually been playing and just kicked our asses with that build? Bravo, applause for the strong game. But they didn't. Neither of them did, though I'm mostly focusing on the second of the two matches.

@FF009A there's easy counter. Be the one survivor that helps doing gens/cleansing totems by chasing other people's chains instead of trying to do bones...

Pain? How dare you use that word? What you think of as pain is only a shadow. Pain has a face. Allow me to show it to you.
