About the changes with survivors and killer perks
Hi I have something to address. I know you’re trying to make DBD equal for both survivor and killer roles. But you’re constantly nerfing the survivors more than the killers. I find it a problem because we who play survivors mostly get proxy camped, camped or even tunneled. There are times where we get slugged by the killer and you aren’t doing an anything about that but you’ll take away our perks and what they were intended to do like the healing boon, you’re about to nerf it to keep us from being able to heal unless we have a medkit. We need it to heal because we have killers who don’t play fairly. I’m sorry this is long but the killers are OP and yet still have to take the game hostage just to get a win. It’s not fun to us especially when you start taking things from the survivors. If you wanna do anything with the healing boon you could at least make it to where it’s normal speed in healing unless cooperating with another survivor. Just please don’t take away our healing. Not all of us like to use medkits. I love toolboxes and flashlights, they are more effective and what’s the point in having certain killers ability to not be blinded by a flashlight when there is literally a perk that is called light borne that keeps you from being blinded. It just doesn’t make sense to me that you’d buff the killers when they are already OP and the survivors aren’t even close to that power that you have to nerf us. The game is not fun anymore, the killers have too much power at this point. Even if we work as a team, the killer will just camp us to keep that from happening. Do you think that’s fun or exciting? I don’t think is and I’m sure others feel the same way. I just wanted to speak my opinion and see if it gets heard because I’m not the only one who feels this.

You’re correct. If you’re someone who brings toolboxes, maps or flashlights this is a huge nerf for solo Q because now your ability to heal is 100% dependent on randos in solo Q unless you bring your own medkit, WITH enough ads ons to get you the two full heals. Unless you wanna waste a peek spot on self care that takes as long to heal you as it does to complete a full gen.
so now all the killers who use tunneling as the META (because this isn’t going to slow down tunneling or camping. Let’s be honest) are guaranteed a 4K every match

So those nerfs to Call of Brine, Overcharge, and Pain Res don't exist. And that survivor HUD update didn't happen. And Eruption was never nerfed.

Any nerf to survivor timing is also a direct buff to tunneling and camping, with no other changes that counteract the effect. The healing speed change alone makes face camping a nearly guaranteed 3k+ with the right build.

So you acting like them nerfs matter lol they gut our perks and tweak yours big whoop now killers will tunnel more because the person who unhooks will have dead hard coh is useless medkits are useless

Devs aren't interested in making the game a balanced 50/50.
They themselves have expressed in the past how kill rates in general weren't high enough for their liking, and people really like to forget the fact that last time statistics were shown, escape rates were only at 39% and that was including SWF's.
I don't take the game too seriously, and I was okay with them making the game killer sided but trying to go beyond a 60/40 that included premades with comms support is a bit overkill, specially when they seemingly do it on a whim and minimal testing.

Nerfing the survivor is going to make this game completely killer sided. I play killer and survivor and I can get 4ks without camping , or tunneling. It makes me as a survivor play locker tag because the matches are already killer sided. What's the point of having a healing boon if u can't heal without a med kit. It will make the matches were the killer doesn't have to even play to get kills, cause the survivors will mainly be hurt the whole match. So there will be tunneling and camping a lot more now.

I won't speak on the base changes to healing until I see how they play out. But to say Circle of Healing didn't need a nerf was absolutely broken. It increased the speed at which you healed others and let you heal yourself. One person running it gave everyone Self Care and Botany Knowledge within a certain radius. This hurt any pressure killers applied, especially hit and run killers like Legion. Circle of Healing should have never been released with a self heal feature and increased speed. This nerf just took it down to where it should have been on release
Also they didn't remove the ability to blind the killer. If you read the update notes again, they removed the ability to burn the Wraith and combat the killer's power directly for a few different killers. This is much different than being blinded.

I just wanna say that if they are basing this off of statistics then they shouldn’t lol. I run into killers who purposely lose the game and let me escape. Their are nice people out there and sorry if they aren’t happy with the numbers lol but it’s not because they can’t kill us but some actually are sweet and don’t care about killing us survivors so scratch the dang numbers lol it doesn’t matter. What matters is all parties are happy.

That’s hilarious that you’re saying that. It’s great especially for killers like legion, constantly hitting you and knocking you down before you even get hooked is annoying. Legion is already a try hard killer to begin with and your saying that the boon is stressing them out? (lmao) The killers have no problem with the boon at all, even while using it we still die as survivors. Taking it away would guarantee that we never survive at all ever again. Like I said earlier, just take away the healing speed. No need to take the self healing action away. But do buff self heal perk cause it’s slower than the boon itself and it’s terrible. I can’t remember the last time I used it because of how slow it heals you, I might as well just use a medkit at that point cause it’s faster.

You know, you are super survivor sided. I have not seen single post where you empathize with the other side whatsoever.
Everything in this patch is great except altruistic healing being nerfed. CoH was not ok and could never be ok in it previous state due to a lack of real counterplay.

They 100% will need to nerf camping before this patch goes live. At least in my opinion. I am hopeful they will do so.

Well no? That's why I want camping to be nerfed, by increasing the hook phase duration from 60 to 75 seconds.

To be short: This game has being survivor sided since the beginning. Now that they are solving problems killers also have to balance the game, you all see this as "side with killers" instead of what it is: Making the game fair. Simple as that.

One question: did you ever tanked a hit with deep wound to counter Legion’s ability? Also healing against Legion is unnecessary most of the time. So I think the reason why you will die in your matches is not CoH nerf.
CoH is an infinite resource of self-healing and this is imbalance. You have 4 survivors injured and they will not feel punishment for feeding hits because they have this noisy totem which will reset them in next second.
