Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Pipping needs to be looked at

At least on the survivor side. Currently, I'm Iridescent Grade 4 and I'm surprised I can get 3 gold emblems and 1 silver and it only counts as a safe pip. 3 generators done, one alone and two with another (Gold), 2 survivors saved and 1 healed (Gold), chased a fair bit (silver) but downed once and still escaped (Gold). 3 survivors escaped and 1 died. A full game played out, I did a bit of everything and escaped yet didn't get a single pip.

Also it's dumb that you're able to depip, when so much is out of your control as survivor. You could get camped and tunneled out and lose a pip, you could end up going against a bad killer who never gets a down, or one that tunnel and camps your teammate, denying you of certain emblems. Generally I think depipping should be removed from both killer and survivor and only happen if they disconnect.

When I play killer, I don't really worry about Emblems cus I get them just playing normally. I'm already Grade 1 killer, because it's double as easy to pip as killer, as long as you're doing decently well, you are guaranteed at least one pip. As a survivor, I feel like I have to go out of my way to do a bit of everything to even get a single pip at the higher grades.

Escaping through the gates should guarantee one pip, then the emblem system calculates if you deserve a second one. It's just crazy to me how a game, like the first one I described, I only got a safety pip despite doing so much and escaping.
