Add a Fifth Perk Slot
With DBD constantly adding a new killer and multiple survivors each chapter adding 3 new perks there will soon become an abundance amount of perks to choose from.
Adding A Fifth Perk slot would also add more combinations and builds as there are plenty of times that an extra perk slot would be need to make to a build perfect.
With how much perks are getting nerfed ,especially on killers, adding an additional slot would make that perk without it being completely useless and an waste of an slot.
With how the game is currently it’s not a necessary change but I would hope for the future or to make games a little more balanced more perk slots should be added Even possibly making Killers having Six perks slot and Survivors only having Five slots

Survivors have two hands, so it makes sense that if they want to survive, they will bring two items. Just an idea for new posts.

🤣🤣 Absolutely! I mean if DBD really wanted to they could add a backpack type of system where you could carry two items obviously such as a Medkit and a toolbox or flashlight what ever combination you would want😁

Would be messy to implement / balance but would be a fair trade for 5th slot, but only for killer. Giving survivors 5th slot will cause lots of balance issues, especially when certain perks can stack and produce powerful effects.

Honestly if everyone played fun or casual builds i'd be like "good idea! leaves room for more creative builds!" but we live in a world where we would just go against 5 stacked gen slowdown perks and well coordinated survivors would pretty much be unstoppable

even now 5 killer perks wouldn't be that hard (every ######### update, the developers completely kill at least 1 killer perk)

I'd like to see an experimental mode added on the base console too so we can try out all these random features without having to join PTB on console. It would be convenient to try out the 5th perk slot (which I've suggested before too) and also give them valuable feedback from console players and not just PC players.

Survivors already got a "5th" perk slot with base kit BT. Literally nobody is using BT anymore because the free effect is so good.
If you want to do anything give killer a 5-6th perk slot. That will give the killer 6 perks to go against 20 survivor perks.

Yes I could completely see that! Looking at the the survivor said and what I’ve seen the community talk about is that gens going by so quickly and how most of all slow gen perks are getting nerfs all around. With releasing just a fifth perk slot without any changes made it would be messy I agree!

Yes I would love this too as I only play on console! I bet a lot of people have had suggest such as feature such as yourself so I’m not too surprised if I mention someone else’s idea😂

I think what would need to be done is either making perks more balanced or adding perks that counter one another, or lastly make either side have overpowered perks either only being able to be used once or as hexes. They already do some of them but it doesn’t work out the way they want it to

What about making killer 150% basekit speed, survivors can't heal ever and they need to complete 30 gens? That would be fair right?
We are just getting patch that will absolutely change the balance for killers. And here comes the idea of making 5 perks for killers? Absolutely bonkers idea

Absolutely 😂And I love bonker ideas and just made two more🤣 but jokes aside yes this on its own would need its own balance changes and is more of an idea then a needed change as mention

I do like the idea honestly but the amount of other changes they would have to make to make it viable on all killers would be too much for bhvr to actually consider. All the perks. All the maps. All the killers. Lol picture those patch notes. And the bugs.......

Yes I completely agree with you and many others! Some have mentioned to me with something like this they would have to skip a chapter to make it happen😁 That’s why this is more of an idea then a needed change!
