This is a situation where people need to consider how they are approaching hook saves. I don't know when folks stopped thinking strategically about how to make saves and when not to go for. It's legit a situation where the killer isn't doing anything wrong, but your teammates trying to play to risky which ends up getting the person they are trying to save killed instead.

The killer is well within their rights to bodyblock you as a defensive technique, it is on the person unhooking you to mitigate the possibility of it happening.

I don't know how you come to that conclusion.

Saving people is a risk that you need to apply critical thinking skills. Sometimes certain saves aren't worth it, but people have it in their heads that they can one man army a save in any condition. Especially when they have time to actually try to approach the situation tactically. I've seen more survivors body block the person they were trying to save than killers resulting in them ending up back on the hook. Why? Because they want to unhook right in the killer's face, but have not considered how they or the other person is getting away when the terrain is narrow or there is only one entrance and exit. It would be easier to let the killer go away for a bit then make the save.

You're asking for the collision to be removed because you feel that if you're unhooked you should have a period of non-negotiable safety and escape. In what way does that make sense? Why punish the killer for the actions of your teammate who can't or won't use their head? I could see it if we're talking about you kobeing off hook all on your own cause then it sort of makes in a way.
