New healing changes make me not want to play
Hello,
I have a lot of hours into this game and i am pretty balanced as far as killer and survivor. I did not have issues before the healing especially the boon but with the recent changes it makes it impossible as a survivor. I am literally uninstalling the game. It's a sad day as this was my favorite game. Thanks for all the fun and hopefully this will be changed in the future.
Thank you,
Fry

What healing changes?
You are not able to play without free self-care (CoH)? Or without healing under 10 seconds (Green medkit)
I usually use only brown medkit, or none. You just got used to using training wheels...
If you need to heal so much try inner-healing. If you have so many hours, you should know totem spawns.

Do you play both roles? Go into solo q and play a few rounds with these changes. Then let us know if you still have this response.

I really don't care about the medkit changes. CoH should have remained with a penalty. The killer can use shattered hope of they really want to eliminate the boons. Playing solo without CoH is hard when you can't communicate with other players.

I am mainly killer main, but I play soloQ for challenges. Still same response.
Survivors were fine before CoH was released, but now they need it to play the game?
SoloQ improved a lot, it will never be SWF level tho.
Seems like git gud issue

It seems like you are biased. I have no issue as a killer right now. I would say 60 percent of the time I get all 4. I didn't think there was any need to nerf healing. It actually sounds like a 'git gud' on your side.

Survivors weren't "impossible" without self healing tbh, it's just that you need to properly coordinate even in solo now.

As hard as it is to imagine there was a time before coh. If you need to heal to be able to play then that's the problem right there. How do you play against legion or plague. There are times to heal and times to stay injured and work on a gen. There are still plenty of ways to heal. Inner healing, renewal, resurgence and a medkit.

I can win with both.
It depends on what killer you play and how you play of course.
You are the one making post about leaving the game, just saying...
If you are so good killer, then play killer. There is not enough of us.
But you instead want to uninstall the game... So doubt it.

I actually do alright against legion but the plague is hard because everyone cleanses constantly.
There are plenty of ways to heal and I get why med kits were nerfed and they don't stack in CoH. As a killer it is frustrating. I just feel there could have been a much better way of doing this instead of eliminating it completely.

COH self healing was obnoxious. It was a good change.

I have to agree right here. The simple fix to this is learn when to stay injured or as I'm trying to figure out how to do perhaps.. As much as I hate to agree with them "get gud". Get better at looping get better at not getting hit. Widen your spectrum of perks and addons so that you are a harder target. I don't know how else to put it.. I don't care about the healing nerfs and I play solo q surv 99% of the time. I only have a SWF situation about 1-2 days a week for about an hour or two. So I fully see the solo q I fully see the killer side as I'm a killer main. So again yeap it's a skill issue sounds like..

They didn’t need to nerf all medkits. Just make it so they don’t increase your self heal speed. Everyone is focused on COH but butchering medkits will have a much bigger impact.

Haha. I am not going to uninstall. That was a bit of an overreaction. However, most of the responses here are from killer mains no one wants to seem to find a balance. I guess in the end it doesn't really matter because there will be changes made again and again.

What's the point of discussion when you immediately start disregarding anyone by "you are biased so your opinions are invalid" though?
2 -
Neither do you, your point?
You just think your opinion is the perfect balance.
They actually tried to balance it, remove self-healing, buff healing aspect.
You wanted nothing changed, where is exactly balance?
Your argument is: "I can't play without it. Change it or I quit."
Then goes: "trust me, I can get 4k whenever I want as a killer, so this doesn't have to be nerfed."
Yeah, why bother testing new CoH or finding an alternative when you can simply throw a tantrum, right?

Medkit shouldn't be a primary source of healing. It should be an alternative you can use.
They are still valid imo.

I don’t agree at all. 9/10 games I’ve played today, the killer had sloppy butcher. Healing was almost impossible if multiple people were injured. End result most times were free 1 hit downs. Very difficult to power through gens while injured and then having deadlock, PR, sloppy, corrupt etc on top of it. The time efficiency decrease in solo q has been very evident.

I guess pallets are broken because the killer can just Spirit Fury, Enduring. Or I guess Fearmonger is broken because you can't use any exhaustion/aura perks... what I'm saying is you can't simply rule something out because the killer can counter with a perk, of course they could man.

First of all I didn't call everyone bias just you. If you read your post they are a bit on the aggressive side.
I did say there are a lot of killer main responses because......there is.
My first post was an overreaction. I agree. I could edit it but I won't because that'd be silly.

So you want to tell me, 9/10 killers you played against were M1 killers? That seems weird....
Sloppy is exactly same if you don't self-heal as before.

Wrong person. Never cared about bias thing.
Just because someone doesn't agree with you, it's not killer main btw.
There is lot of survivors who don't use medkits or CoH.
If anyone would be bias, it's you because someone is taking away your toy.
I am supposed to be bias, because I said I can play without it?
Aggressive response was for a guy saying I have definitely never played soloQ, otherwise there is no way I can play without CoH. It was just pathetic imo.
