Overpowered Killers
I think something needs to be done regarding the killer perks, this game used to be quite enjoyable. However within 5 seconds of spawning into a game now teammates are getting tunnelled by killers who know our every move. I thought this game was supposed to go by player level, clearly not the case anymore and is becoming a little frustrating how we’ve got no chance of even completing a single generator before we’re all dead.

The killer isn't tunneling you, because they found you 5 seconds into the game. Do you want the killer to wait 30 seconds or something arbitrary?

Why don’t you take the point instead of being snippy?
It’s very clear the player is saying either Aura is unbalanced or the skill level isn’t matched.
Not every player of this game lives and breathes it. Some play casually for fun, but it does have to be that; fun.
Feel free to dismount your high horse.

Did you not see where the killer regression perks basically got deleted today?
The result however will be more tunneling and camping if that is possible.

Distortion is a perk that blocks auras. At this point, you guys are just asking for everything that killers have to be nerfed because it's not fun to lose a game.

I would read my post again. I am aware of Aura cancelling perks, but some people play casually and won’t ever have a full perk rack.
More notably, I didn’t say nerf anything, I couldn’t care less if COB or PR stayed as-was. My issue is the complete slam in healing. Camping and Tunnelling has already returned to nearly every game I have played this evening.
The point is, if it becomes a chore to play, people (including me), won’t.

Camping and Tunneling are happening more, because killer regression perks got nuked. I'm sorry if you aren't enjoying the game more, but killers are trying to play as well. At some point you have to realize that asking for everything killers have access to, to be nerfed is only going to cause you to face the least fun tactics, because killers have no other options.

I play 50/50 … Yesterday I found this game playable as both, today I don’t.
If I just wanted to ‘win’ most of the time now, I would just kill.
And the only nerfs are COB and PR, and let’s face it, 4 goes of PR will do.
COB, hardly a loss.
Like is say, if it doesn’t feel ‘fair’, people won’t play…

You're idea of "fairness" is to nerf everything killers have and run all the killers out of the game.

fairness in my view is not to slug camp tunnel. SWF not to grief killers. Not to nerf healing into the ground so that less experienced players hate the game and stop playing.

The game revolves around counter-perks. If you find aura reading is too strong, grab distortion. It hard counters aura reading...and it gives you an advantage because the killer will likely think you're not nearby at all depending on the perk. For example, if he uses Nowhere to Hide and kicks a gen, and you get your aura protected, he'll think no one is around and leave - which lets you IMMEDIATLY hop back on the gen while he leaves for a solid 30+ seconds thinking the area is clear. That's incredibly strong.

A lot of issues posted on here wouldn't be as inflated as they are now if BHVR implemented a simple fix to both reward killers for spreading out hooks / early game pressure + discourage killers from tunnelling.

Think big issue is they keep making survivor perks weaker. Catering to the killers cus they whine about someone using dead hard to escape a kill or a healing boon to heal instead of just dying. Why can't survivors just die and always let killer win wah wah wah.

I agree that nerfing perks isn't always the best idea, but sometimes it needs to be done. Eruption wasn't fun bc you literally could not play the game for 30 seconds. COH wasn't fun because hits were cancelled out by heals for a whole team. etc.
DH is a rough perk to handle bc in it's current state it's much more skill/mind-game based than most other perks (aka fun), but frustrating to face as a killer (aka not fun) - few killer perks give downs in most situations the same way DH saves survivors from downs.
The whole killer vs. survivor debate is funny to see on here. It's like neighbouring a country with a 2 party political system and having to listen to citizens argue about which side is better... naturally people are going to argue about both sides in dbd, but there are still things you can do to improve the game for everyone... (aka please read my post BHVR lol)

Yeah overpowered killer powers!! Five seconds into match i see that Mikey guy staring at me aka He's tunneling out my whole team by imagining it b/c he hasn't even hooked them yet!! OMG!!
That overpowered huntress killer power: threw a hatchet in my direction 5 seconds into match aka was tunneling my team.
Skull Merchant overpowered killer power. Setup drones over 3 gen in under 5 seconds of match starting aka tunneling my team out. I'm tunneled out b/c I run into her and I can't get a single gen done. Lets not forget i give up on first hook but i'm still being tunneled.
Last one on overpowered killer powers: Trapper, i spawn in and I see traps. I hear him coming towards my team to pick up traps and we are being tunneled despite not even have been on hook yet.
It's so bad. I just want to play casually aka with no killer on the map just me to do my generators with 0 tunneling aka killer looking in my direction.
