What the summer Midchapter needs
These are just my suggestions, but I feel like they're good for the game:
- Blight's addons need nerfing. I think a lot of us can agree on this. He is fairly strong addon-less, but with addons, he is just too much. Alchemist Ring in particular needs revisiting.
- Unfair skill checks should be looked into. If we leave a gen, and that instant a skil check procs, it explodes a gen and there's nothing we can do about it. Either an almost finished gen gets annihilated, and/or the killer gets freee whereabouts on where we are, and ruins potential strategies. Make it so that if we leave a gen/healing while a skill check is active, the skill check *stays* on the screen, just like with Overcharge, and we have a fair chance to hit it. PLEASE.
- Tunneling needs to be addressed in a bigger way. 1 awful thing is someone getting tunneled out before anyone else is hooked. This just rewards the killer for being bad and a bad sport, while the tunneled survivor has an awful experience. I would make it so that if a survivor is unhooked and on a death hook, and NO other survivor has been hooked yet, make the death-hook survivor invulnerable, until someone else is hooked. There is NO justification for the killer not going for one of 3 options at the start/mid of the match and just harrassing 1 survivor rampantly.
- Pyramid Head's cage mechanic should not bypass unhook perks. It just promotes tunneling without consequences. Caging someone is already advantageous by not having to pick up a survivor (and risking a flashlight save, hook sabo), and not having to waste time carrying them to a hook. Immunity to protection from tunneling should not be a part of it.
- Camping needs to be addressed. Especially camping Bubba. 1) remove Hook grabs. This mechanic is very unhealthy and just rewards the camping killer. 2) Disable killers' powers when near the hooked survivor.
- Bodyblocking needs to be addressed. By that, I mean specifically if a survivor was hiding in a tight spot, and then either a teammate or the killer bodyblocks them from exiting, making them unable to do anything for the rest of the match. In my opinion, there is an easy solution to this: make it so that when the 1st AFK crow appears, the crow person loses collision with all other players, and regains collision 2 seconds after starting to move.

These do seem like fair suggestions, though making a survivor invincible will of course never work.
However, all these suggested changes for the next midsummer patch without a bunch of killer buffs will just cause astronomically high queue times for survivor.
Tunneling and camping need to be nerfed, no doubt, but not without buffs to killers as well, making the more normal playstyle fairer. That could happen by adding some early game slowdown, but the best solution would probably be to balance maps much better, so that killers generally have a fairer chance at keeping up with gen times. However the latter in particular would still take a lot of work.

So what you're saying is if you get caught hiding and get made to pay for it by being downed that should mean that the killer can't do anything for the rest of the match because they did their job and put you on the floor and on a hook? Come on now..

make the death-hook survivor invulnerable,
Not sure how you want that to work. Unless you completely remove their hitbox, it would be possible to abuse the hell out of this.
Pyramid Head's cage mechanic
Sure, if killer perks work too. It would be actually buff for him.
Camping needs to be addressed
1) sure
2) hell no, unless it's super small radius, but then it's useless. Most killers simply don't deserve it. This should be killer specific thing.

You completely missed what I was saying. Downing a hidden survivor is AWESOME. But standing at them and blocking them until the other survivors repair all gens and leave and the Endgame Timer runs out, while the trapped survivor cannot move/escape anywhere or do anything for 5-10 minutes is awful. THIS is what needs to be addressed. Downing and hooking is awesome. Body-blocking for 5-10 minutes is not.

All these things are just nerfs to killer and a slight buff for survivor with the random skillcheck when leaving. If killers got buffed a good amount in some way maybe.

I'm not saying don't buff killers. I'm saying I'd love to see these things implemented, because tunneling and camping are awful. It's a miserable experience for the camped/tunneled survivors. Get tunneled/camped enough, and the urge to uninstall grows. BHVR loses players. It's a loss-loss situation.
I'm saying tackle tunneling and camping. Of course, whatever buffs/rebalances killers may need to compensate for it, give it to them. As long as it's fair.

Nurse, Blight & SWF nerf, both killer will be out of controll, you will see way more swf troups bc after that oatch, bhvr makes the gap between solo q and swf bigger than ever
