Now that the medkits are almost dead, they should revert the nerfs for...
Botany Knowledge (remove the medkit efficiency reduction)
and
Pharmacy (just revert back to what it was before, speed bonus at all times, 1 green med kit after opening the first chest)
And also buff some other healing based perks that nobody uses such as Resurgence, Solidarity and Aftercare

Medkits arent dead. I still heal myself 2 times per match.

But...they didnt say Medkits are dead

First of all , medkit is still very viable that can see multiple medkit in every match.
Second, pharmacy is actually better than before that you can get multiple green medkit now.
And Botany knowledge......no, just no ,the nerf is already unnoticeable this perk change would only make it worse

They arent even almost dead. 2 heals per match is quite enough. Also the slowness.. honest i didnt even feel it unless it was with slobby.

You have to be really good to make killer give up on chase after injured you, so you can run around finding 3 chests for 3 Green medkit instead of doing Gens.
Or if you fail a chase and hooked, then a teammate comes to unhook you, instead of staying there for 16sec for teammate to heal you, you run around finding 3 chests for 3 Green medkit.
Getting 3 Green medkits isnt a buff.

Time is relative, behind killers' back, survivor can get healed in 1min after escaping a chase. To killer, they think that survivor do Gen for 1min and get healed at the same time, but reality, its that survivor running around finding for a teammate to heal them, which also take time from another survivor.
The only thing you acknowledge is that survivor gets healed.
Beside, Medkits used to have alot of charges, buffing BK and taking away 20% is 'understandable' (the buff from 33% to 50% doesnt make up the nerf of taking away 20% charge)
Now Medkits dont have alot of charge, use BK is pretty much pointless to bring a Medkit. Im fine if BK goes back to 33% and remove the 20% charge penalty.

I'll trade the green medkit for a yellow one if it means I get the chest-opening speed boost all the time. Maybe we could rework it to be like Residual Manifest where you can rummage in an opened chest to get a medkit... though I don't know how it would work if you had both equipped at the same time.

I play both sides and im having it way easier on the survivor side. Also i mostly play soloQ. I don't think survivors need anymore buffs atm. 2 heals from medkit + adrealine at the end. We'll make it to heal fast after unhooking someone. I really dont see the issue. Gens go by fast at least in most of my games.

You agree new BK is a nerf from the old one?

Sure its a nerf to balance the old medkits.

I was going to say literally exactly the same thing

Reverting Pharmacy would be a nerf. What it needs is a major self-heal speed bonus to Medkits obtained through the perk to compensate for the Green Medkit nerfs.

Yeah, Pharmacy is now pretty much useless. It's much more practical to just bring Self-Care, or Inner Healing. Green Medkits are now the same as brown medkits. You'd only run Pharmacy to find a medkit to heal yourself, otherwise you'd go find a teammate. The perk has been almost never used as it was pre-patch, but now I don't see any justification to use it over other perks.

multiple medkits if there is at least 1 chest unopened lol

If they reverted the nerf to Botany Knowledge without also reverting its (massive) buff, the perk would just become overpowered. It's already very good, it does not need to be buffed further.
One of the most underrated perks in the game, based on how often people talk about it as though 6.1.0 was an overall nerf to it...

I mean yeah, if you bring either the iridescent addon, or Streetwise. (unless I'm missing something)
Longterm-wise, iridescent addons aren't that sustainable (especially since we no longer have infinite level 50 bloodwebs, that guaranteed at least 1 iri addon (not counting P 100 bloodwebs, since P 100-ing a lot of work, and many people play different survivors)), and streetwise means you sacrifice a perk slot. Not the best... I'm not saying I'm necessarily agreeing with the idea of removing the penatly from BK. I'm mostly saying that getting 2 full self-heals out of a medkit isn't as sustainable as it once was. At least not long-term, once you run out of saved up iridescent addons that you hoarded when they were green.
In that sense, medkits are in a weak state right now. Especially if you introduce mangled, haemmorhage, and Franklin's.

yeah the 6.1.0 "Buff" put a damper on my item searching build, I loved getting items and switching between them in a match, depending what you got.
