mmr problem
we need something to understand who we have in team... we meet console players and we don't know how much hours they have. We that have kinda 3k+ hours cannot meet 200/300 hours ppl, it ruins our game... devs may put some stuff to tell us the mmr they have, like the rank, player level/devotion, something...

Hmm... No.

Definitely need a better way to gauge the team skill level before readying up. Prestige levels are sometimes a decent indicator but your devotion level would be way more useful indeterminate play time. This is clearly the best behavior can do with the matchmaking or they would've been change it. So why not let the survivors be able to vet their team more effectively. If u level 20 devotion I'll at least know u around 4000 hours and i can have more confidence going into the match. Every time i see a lobby of prestige level ones i think "f**k this".

Why do hours matter with MMR? Sometimes I think people forget the fact that hours don’t necessarily mean anything. For example, you could have a survivor with 500 hours be better than someone with 4000 hours. What if the survivor in your lobby with 4000 hours have spent 3800 on killer while the person with 500 spent all of it on survivor side.
I’m coming up on 4000 hours but if you catch me playing hillbilly you’ll think I just started. Point being if you don’t know the whole story don’t try telling the story.

Ah yes, good old "Divide the playerbase for my ego."

You can have 1000+ hours and still not be good.

Lobby dodging doesn't help with this sort of thing either. The game will start to prioritise queue time over skill matching. This is something the community needs to be better about imo.

Or better yet, "Tell me who I can blame for EVERYTHING when I lose".
These people go into every game thinking "If I don't win it's because my teammates were crap or killers are OP" and they are the most toxic ones. They're the ones who suicide on hook the second someone didn't play the exact way they wanted them too. Squirters.

well that was a huge leap

I don't mean to sound rude but you just stating the obvious. Yes u can be bad with 1000 hours and yes u can be good with a low amount of hours. On average the better players will have higher prestige numbers/more hours so of course u would wanna team with them over a lower rank player if possible. Why wouldn't u wanna put yourself in the best possible position to win.

Often, it would make no difference. I've played with P100 who were not as good as a P10 player. I've seen high prestige survivors completely throw a game, compared to others.
Also, it would cause elitism within the game, which is dumb anyway because the MMR should be putting you with others who have had similar results in games. No amount of lobby-dodging will get you out of that area.
I'm personally against even prestige being shown in the pregame lobby. Considering some players will make any excuse as to why they performed bad (not usually focused on them) it's kinda pointless to show Prestige anyway.

Exactly.
