[New Perk] - Last Man Standing Survivor Perks - Suggestion

Options

I believe that removing the ability for survivors to find the "Black Lock" unless your the last survivor is the worst idea you could have come on with

Why? You can't even open the doors now, because the timer ALSO has been reduced to make sure you're unable to unlock any doors

Last Man Standing Perk#1 - Last Resort

Once you are the last man standing, you can press "x" to yell (Can only be used once);

Revealing your position to the killer,

You are able to see the aura of the killer for 10 seconds

You get <<5% speed>>

(YES, you could run that with quiet and cancel the yelling part so you don't notify the killer)

Last Man Standing Perk#2 - Lockpicking

You are able to open the "Black Lock", without using any keys

This action takes 10 seconds

Last Man Standing Perk#3 - Final Plan (can only be used by 1 survivor)

You extend the end-game timer for all survivors by 60 seconds

You become the obession

So the survivor would be anything u guys can come up with, it's more about the perks than the lore behind it

We don't need any more perks that encourages survivors to practically kill their friend.

What we need is to allow survivors (The whole team) to escape with the "Black Lock" again

But I don't think that DbD Devs are going to remove something they changed... Who would do that..

If you want a really game changing and breaking idea, here is one

Last Man Standing Perk#4 - Loved by the deads

For Each Totem that has a benediction (you can stack all 5)...

A survivor that died that hasn't been hooked is able to comeblack alive as a spirit and can open the "Black Lock" with his powers

    (Or he could do anything)

**His aura can't be seen by the last survivor alive

At that point, adds an object that immediately sacrifice other three survivors and let you escape, and allow survivors to attack each other so they can prevent people from activating it.

    Would make more interesting matches.

I see your point, you want to prevent trolls by degrading the 3 other survivors in the team

That's a valid point of view, that's the exact point of view the devs had when they nerfed the "Black Lock" and the end of game timer

All of the perks being the last survivor remaining should have requirements to be active (such as completely 2 gens, get 2 unhooks, etc). At least they would require you to not abandon your team immediately

I agree, but i'm only here to provide the idea, not finish it

Last Man Standing Perk#5 - Timeout

While Injured State (On the floor), you can crawl into a locker

Bad Side: Other than making the killer waste time, you can't technically be healed and you are bleeding out in the locker while you are recovering inside of a locker

Good Side: You can use it with other perks like Nancy Wheelers to Heal up in the locker

Last Man Standing Perk#1 - Last Resort

[After you completed 1 "safe unhook on another survivor"]

    Once you are the last man standing, you can press "x" to yell (Can only be used once);

Revealing your position to the killer, You are able to see the aura of the killer for 5 seconds

    You get <<5% speed>>

Last Man Standing Perk#2 - Lockpicking

    [After you completed a generator]

You are able to open the "Black Lock", without using any keys

    This action takes 10 seconds

Last Man Standing Perk#3 - Final Strategy

[After you completed a generator] (can only be used by 1 survivor)

You extend the end-game timer for all survivors by 45 seconds

    You become the obession

Last Man Standing Perk#4 - Bond of the Sacrified

[After you did an COOP-action with THAT survivor for 30-45 seconds]

The survivor you worked with gain the "Bond of the Sacrified"

The last survivor that gets killed before you become "The Last Man Standing" is able to turn into a ghost

For 60 seconds: As long as the survivor has "Bond of the Sacrified"

-He will be able to interact with doors, chests, totems and do progress all the way up to 50-75%

-You are unable to be seen by the Last survivor,

-The killer is able to see a faint tickle glow around where the spirit of the Sacrified is

Last Man Standing Perk#5 - Timeout

While Injured State (Crawling on the floor), you can crawl into a locker

-It stops your bleeding for 20-25-30 seconds

There's a fine line between inspiring teams to kill eachother, and perks that save you in the darkest hour. All your perks either don't help, or instigate the former. Look to the ones ingame that already do this, such as sole survivor or left behind. Sole works as people die, instead of only when they're all dead. This means you still want to help your team, but when things become dire and you dont think as a team you will win, you can split of, be stealthy, and play for hatch or gates. Left Behind is a hail mary. All else has failed, it's just you and the killer, and it gives you a bit more chance at finding it first.

The reason full team escapes were removed was because, frankly, they were bullshit. Siituations that killers might have been able to get a few kills in suddenly became the entire survivor team vanishing, with no way to defend from such a thing as killer. The current iteration is more fair: The killer has already won, the hatch is your key to being the only one to make it out. You and your team had their chance at the gens and failed.

You bring a valid point by explaining why the Black Lock was nerfed, but you clearly didn't read the perks if you claim the following :

"There's a fine line between inspiring teams to kill eachother, and perks that save you in the darkest hour. All your perks either don't help, or instigate the former."

Some of your argument is wrong, because when you're the last survivor, your goal shouldn't only be to espace by the "Black Lock", if the killer closes it -> Oh Well, I might as well let myself get killed

Nah you should be able to open doors, the game should be able to turn into a 1v1

Not just due to the perks I am suggesting, but because now if such perks are in the games, then it will force the killer to change the way he acts when he's done slugging the 2nd last survivor

**The argument you presented revolves around a strategy in a game that involves waiting for your team to be eliminated before attempting to open a door/escaping by the Black Lock. This strategy relies on behaviors that aren't currently encouraged by DbD, I will agree, but it doesn't mean that it matters (Read my next msg)**

**It's worth noting that game balance is an ongoing process, and developers often make adjustments and introduce updates to address overpowered strategies or unintended mechanics. Additionally, strategies can vary depending on the specific game mode, map, and the behavior of both survivors and killers.**

**To counter this specific strategy, one possible approach could be to run a key with addons that allow you to see the aura of the killer. By waiting for your team to be eliminated and closely monitoring the killer's aura, you can anticipate when they are about to close the Black Lock and react accordingly.**

The decision to hide survivor ranks in DbD is led to a decrease in players waiting for their team to die before attempting certain strategies. Concealing survivor ranks could have removed the incentive for players to showcase their rank and compete for higher rankings.

Altering or hiding ranks was the adjustment made to address this issues. Which apparently ended up working.

While it is true that some players may have been motivated to play the game specifically to showcase their survivor rank, there are likely other aspects and motivations that attract players to Dead by Daylight. This could include the unique gameplay mechanics, cooperative or competitive challenges, or simply the enjoyment of the game itself.

It is important for game developers to strike a balance between creating a competitive environment and ensuring an enjoyable experience for all players. Concealing ranks may have been one of the approaches taken to achieve this balance.

So to resume, it doesn't matter how many perks are made for solo-players tryhard trying to escape alone, there is litteraly no reason for anybody to try to escape, because the ranks were removed (Let's not even speak about the matchmaking reasons)
