Separate PC and Switch users from cross play.
I play on PS5 but when I use cross play off I can only and only play with PS5 players not even PS4.
Make cross play for PS4,PS5, and Xbox.

As a PC player I second this. I would LOVE to only play with other PC players.

There is already an option where you can play only with people on your system.
OP is talking about separating PC from Console (and Switch for some reason).

I want to only play against Switch and low End PCs while you are at it BHVR. Also as surv my teammates should only be next gen consoles or higher end PCs, but not on controllers. Also preferably not Epic store, but Steam and Windows is okay.

You missed the most important part - no comms! No discord, no talking in real life, no phone calls, nothing. Gotta add mic noise detection to ensure no funny business. Face solo q only. kthnx bhvr!!! :D

At the moment it is also the case that you only match with people who have also deactivated crossplay.
So if a lobby should arise where everyone would be on the same platform(CP on/off), that is another criterion. That's the reason why you only find a lobby every 30 minutes. It is implemented somewhat sloppily.

They need console only and PC only crossplay options. There's no way to play with crossplay off on Switch and actually get matches, but playing against PC players is miserable. I haven't played the game in a good while at this point.

I cannot see them ever implementing this. The playerbase prolly isn't big enough to support splitting queues like this. Believe me I also would like console-only matches.
If M,&K was available for all players, and game performance was much closer, then maybe it wouldn't feel this way. But this is DBD we're talking about after all.

It is unfortunate that there's such glaring gameplay differences between what platform ya run DBD on. Far more than most games out there.
It's the root cause of so many requests for this over the years, and for Cross Progression as well.

Yeah sure. But if you are pedantic, the game runs significantly different on last gen consoles vs current gen, or not? And there is a big difference between switch and the other consoles.
it’s way too simplified when only calling out PC and consoles should be separated, especially when lower end PCs with controller are a thing as well..

DBD absolutely runs much more stable on my Xbox series X than on my Xbox1x, but many of the same performance issues are cropping back up.
I just wish there wasn't such a huge disparity between them when it comes to this particular game.
