Allow the knight to press ctrl to quick command guards to complete actions infront of him.
When the knight is standing in front of a pallet, wall, or generator he can't immediately summon a guard to break it. He's got to back up, spam right-click, and then spam left-click just to break a pallet in the chase and It's so unnecessarily clunky. Letting him simply press (or hold) ctrl when in front of a pallet to quick command would be so handy. His kit feels as unwieldy as his claymore. I really hope he can get some kind of minor rework in the future with changes like this

I agree with this change. It’s tough to balance knight cause if he’s played a certain way he’s a 3 Gen monster. But he is actually better than that.

The perks that enabled that play style are gone now. He's no better at it than most of the roster anymore.

You need to summon your guard before survivor fully drop pallet.
It's kinda part of needed skill for him, not really bad thing imo.

She's always been better at gen defense than knight. Skull woman is omnipresent in a way he'll never be and on many maps can leverage the element of surprise. Knight's thing was kicking a gen with overbrine and setting a guard to watch it while regressing while kicking the other gens as well. Without those perks, this strategy doesn't work anymore. I've beaten a few knights still trying to make it work. Moreover as we've moved away from the knight release the counterplay to him is understood and disseminated better. People understand that the guards are pointless without the knight accompanying them. So even when he does do that you can just kite a guard for 5-10s, grab the banner and hop back on your gen. Knight comes back and does an ineffectual chase with you and leaves the other gens defenseless. For reference skull merchant takes 10s before you can even begin to interact with drones assuming she doesn't reset them remotely with no time investment from her. Her stall is in a different league than knight.

The Knight COULD be good at chases... but right now there are too many obstacles to his ability to summon guards in an effective way during chases.
A survivor that understand his power's limitations will just stand there and not drop a pallet knowing FULL WELL that if you use it then... they can press w and avoid it all in the most brain dead way imaginable.
I am going to say it... Map of the realm NEEDS TO BE BASEKIT, he absolutely unplayable without that and the yellow contract thing.
I didn't really enjoyed 3 gens strats on him but tbf, it was the most effective way to play him.
RN I play SM instead, a much stronger killer overall.

Disagree, carnifex break speed at pallets is only kept remotely balanced by the fact that you can't be right next to the pallet when he does it.

Also by the fact that you only have him yaknow, 1/3rd of the time and he's the guard you really want chasing people anyway.

But it doesn't stop knight from quickly break the pallets and hits you anyway, this is literally just a QoL change because whether it exists or not knights can DO that.
Not to mention he really isn't that good of a killer anyway.

Except there’s a bug where if you summon a guard within a few meters of a pallet and the survivor throws the pallet; it sucks the guard into it, destroys the guard and also magically stuns the knight from 5 meters away. So that’s not really an option.
I reported this bug in the PTB, on their Twitter, emailed them. Still there. @BHV if you are hurting for devs, I’m basically a lvl 999 dark wizard dev 😬
I have built entire web based platforms and games by myself. Used 3DS Max to model, texture and animate my own characters.
Or keep these bugs in your game for literal YEARS. Lol

bHVR could fix this problem by allowing ghosts to spawn inside of Knight if there is no space to spawn them.
I dont understand how bHVR just signed off on Knight, when anyone who plays him regularly can feel the ghost placement being REALLY annoying. If bHVR decides to make gameplay smoother for knight, this has to be top priotity.

Yea just let the guards spawn on top of the knight or let the knight issue a command with Ctrl. These are both obvious fixes that the devs will probably not do.

that's ludicrous.
you don't even get to do it on most pallets that have trash or window close-by due to weird geometry issues.
It's a bug at this point, not a feature.

seems fine to me. I'm no knight player but if his power is gonna be that janky for any reason except balancing it should go. as long as it isnt as far ranged as the guards lol, dont want the carnifex instabreaking a pallet before a survivor can reach it lol

that scenario literally can't happen.
You CANNOT order the carnifex to break a pallet that wasn't dropped.

thats not even what I said though I said you shouldnt be able to just instabreak a pallet before a survivor can reach it. of course I mean dropped pallet I just assumed that it didnt need to be specified.

I'd be all for that. If they needed to add a slight delay so it's not too powerful in chase or whatever, I'm okay with that, just so long as I can be moving and doing something else while it's starting.
It's the biggest feedback I've had for the Knight since his PTB, tbh. I'd really love to see that part of his kit made smoother.
