Killer feels unplayable
All my games so far have been me just getting stomped into the ground with 0 chance of getting even 1 kill (Well I got 1 kill in 1 of my games actually). 3 gens done in 2 minutes before I even have a hook, Gabriel Soma everywhere with Made for This making it way too hard to catch them. I swear the movespeed from getting hit got buffed or something because people are flying across the map to the point where I cannot chase them even without Overcome. Not to mention tile sets seem bugged. I just had a game in well, the Game map and there was an entire corner of the map that didn't have a SINGLE hook, the closest one was on the second floor above me, which everyone could break out before I got to. Also everyone is running toolboxes now, as if Gen speeds weren't already disgustingly fast as it is. I can have a gen at literally 0%, go for a chase for 1 minute and it pops. Sorry I decided to chase past my allotted 15 seconds, forgot I have to chase for 1 pallet or 1 hit then go pressure gens because that's a fun way to play the game and is super rewarding.
I'm so exhausted trying to have fun or win with Killer, I'm just going to play Survivor from now on, it's just frustrating playing Killer. Maybe I'm just bad at the game, maybe I'm playing wrong, but at this point I don't care, I'm so tired.
Also a new Killer just released, it's Prime Time, and Killer has a 100% BP incentive right now. So take that as you will.

Literally just got out of my first game and I get a stacked BNP toolbox user and everyone using Made For This AND DEJA VU. I'm literally playing controller Pyramid Head, I cannot flick too well and this just makes it even harder to do anything. Each hook I got there was a gen completed with another one being close to finished. All of the last three gens were being worked on and I legitimately could not put any pressure because of Deja Vu + Prove Thyself...

I have over 6500 hours in dbd an killer meme builds seem to be a thing of the past it's meta or lose
it would help if there was some more fun perks an quality of life improvements for killer such as audio, visual an hook spawns etc
The hook spawns are terrible on some maps so you have to let people wiggle or or get picked up if you drop them.
Also if someone dies on a hook it can make a whole area of a map impossible to get someone to hook. They should probably change that so when someone dies on a hook it only breaks for the length of a sabo then respawns
This is why i don't grudge a killer for camping or tunneling anymore the survivor objective can just be done a lot quicker than the killers

I have logged like 6000 hours just as killer in the past 3 years. Killer has never felt this unplayable. I’m on Xbox and had no problem getting good games recently, until this update. Suddenly, I the best game I had all day was a 1k. I can’t catch people. I’m losing every chase, eating every pallet. I’m dropping frames , too.
The Game should be killswitched. On The Game, as you mentioned, there’s a huge part of the map where hooks aren’t spawning.

Stop playing Killer if it is a detriment to your mental state. Either play Survivor or another game if queue times are too long.
Come back when Killer is in a better spot.

With how things are handled - killers will never be at better spot. Unless their number drops to critical value, their experience will be ''sacrificed'' in favor of survivor(s) enjoyment.

They are absolutely correct.
The game from killer's perspective is UNPLAYABLE right now.
They need to roll back nerfs done to previously meta perks, those were the last thing keeping gen rushes like we currently see at bay.

Not sure what you’re on about. I wasn’t invalidating their experiences. Killer does feel more frustrating to play but devs will not take any drastic action unless the Killer population drops.
The reason the Killer sided patch happened was because Survivor queue times were 10 minutes+ and people were complaining about it. The devs realized they needed to make Killer feel better to play or even Survivor players would start leaving the game eventually.
Not playing or minimizing the frequency of playing Killer sends a message to the devs that the Killer experience isn’t good even with the BP incentive.

The one where they nerfed CoB and overcharge into oblivion while making, yet another joke nerf on DH and... for once... an actual nerf on CoH?
Cuz that one killed the entire gen kick meta, survivors won that day.
They need to stop helping survivors.

You mean that patch where gens got to 90 seconds? That's long time ago btw.
Then almost all slowdown perks got nerfed a lot, so games are same or faster in reality?
There is currently not slowdown perk anywhere near close Ruin/Pop.
We also didn't get new slowdown perk since Sadako and CoB is trash now.

I was referring to patch 6.1.0.
I was worried last year that this was just a tactic to attract new Killer players to stabilize the Killer population before nerfing Killer and buffing Survivor bit by bit to keep the main playerbase (Survivors) happy.
While I can’t say that this is definitely happening given that Deadhard and heals/medkits were nerfed too, the fact that the anti camping mechanic was announced in the livestream and Killer FOV slider/Freddy changes were only mentioned in the AMA shows that aforementioned changes clearly weren’t even worth mentioning on the livestream lol.
The devs may not be Survivor or Killer sided in reality but they do a terrible job of expressing that.
