Do the devs know that some maps are unplayable as killer ?

Larry's hospital

The Game

Those maps are really out of balance, favoring survivors way too much... Most killers are hardly playable on them and some killers are totally unplayable : Singularity especially but it is also extremely hard to play as a nurse and Blight on those maps.

So one question : why are those maps still in the game untouched ?

I know you have reworked them but you made them the same way they were before, the game is even worst.

Don't forget cow shed and it's many variations of awful especially for range killers

Because there are killer players with a lot of game sense that 4k 150 games for every 1 game they loose and the majority of the survivor players base straight up sucks and need strong maps to even stand a slight chance against a killer with a brain…

I fail to see how a Nurse would struggle on the Game (or uh any map that isn't absolutely huge lol) ?

Also, maybe it's an unpopular opinion but I don't mind going on it as killer unless I'm playing trapper. Like, it's really not that bad for me? I also don't mind Lery's but it's probably because I don't usually play the killers that particularly struggle on it.

Does everyone really hates the Game ? I'd take it over Garden Of Joy, Borgo, Temple of Purgation, Badham and probably some others I'm forgetting any day.

    Survivor main i guess 😂

If you loose on those maps against a Blight or Nurse, the proble is on your side unless you face LilithOmen.

Imagine believing LilithOmen is the only good Blight lol.

He is not even best Blight. There is better players than him who don't stream.

And stop calling people as surv or killer main. They shared their opinion, as like you.

Blight does not suffer on Gideon. Nearly every tile has reliable collision and fully hug techable. I bring Gideon often to run bull dozer blight, and I don’t think I’ve ever lost a match on that map.

to be fair the games bottom floor has some very good los breakers

It just remind me of Hawkins game play where you just hold 'w' with narrow hallways and los breakers every 2 seconds that make some killers not have a power.

First time I ever heard anyone call Lery's survivor-sided. If anything this map is mostly killer-sided. Not the best map for mobility but a lot of killers do thrive on this map.

The Game has a lot of pallets but I hardly would call it survivor sided either. Why? Because once the pallets are gone, the survivors have nothing. There are no good loops or strong vault locations and some killers like Nurse, SM or Doctor can put the whole map on shutdown really quick.

Lery's is a pretty good map if you aren't playing a collision-based killer, I like that one.

As for the overall question, BHVR tend to make changes slowly, that's really all it is.

Agree but on haddonfield. Bro the map doesnt have that many pallets but the Car ones are always safe and the house ones too, then the rest of them are nearly useless. But the main problem is that the map is Humongous large and super open to see the killer and run or hide before a chase. The windows are the main problem almost an infinite against a normal killer, but super easy as a nurse or blight

I love these maps as killer. Maybe try a different tactic or a different killer.

IDK. This thread seems so absurd, as calling cowshed killer sided.

When I absolutely want to win the game as killer, 1st choise is midwitch, 2nd choise is the game (especially if I can make a build for it), 3rd choise is RPD.

Lery's is also extremely good - but I will grant you that this one depends on killer (perfect map for ghostface and meyers, but generally most/all M1 killers do well on it as it's the smallest map in the game I think - if we consider whole walking area so vertically counts).

All killers should work on all maps.

Fact that most maps are survivor sided, while survivors are already busted, is a joke. It has been a survivor sided game for 7 years straight...

I definitely think it would be nice if the map pool wasn't so wildly unbalanced, this goes in both directions. Singularity showcases this probably the best given that on some maps he may as well not be a killer at all because he's so underpowered and on other maps he's an omniscient God.

I would really like to see map design standardized, I'd much prefer map designs like dead dawg, coal tower or father Campbell's where things are kind of even depending on which section of the map you're in, although even those maps could probably use less loop/hook dead zones and less God loop setups. Out of all of the indoor maps I'd have to say Lery's isn't that bad but it still manages to completely screw over any killer that cares about collision or line of sight, maybe open up a few sections more with less walls and it would be perfect.

lery's is actually pretty killer favored for most killers. It's bad for singularity and a little bit unfavorable for blight and nurse, but those 2 are so strong they can handle it.

The game also depends on your killer somewhat but I'd say for most killers it slightly favors killer

    It's simple.

When Nurse charges blink and survivor run towards her, then Nurse needs to look down.

Guess what's going to happen when there is another floor under her...

It's also easy to break line of sight, so Nurse needs to keep guessing where to blink.

But expecting all killers to perform equally on every map is absurd.

Nurse and huntress would be unstoppable if the map had no obstacles or los blockers whatsoever. Just give them an open field and it's an easy win...

But that kind of map is literally the worst case scenario for ghost face, who would prefer a map with lots of los blockers and cover to approach and stalk from. Which, coincidentally, is the worst kind of map for nurse or huntress.

    And that's just one example.
