The twins

(Idk if this will be read but i just need to say) Just got done with a game facing the twins for the first time, and it's just OP, the guy was able to send out Victor every second to camp and slug everyone, the cool down needs to be fixed or something because you can't even spin it because no matter where he's facing if he's close to you he can hit. Not a single gen was able to be done because he was able to camp one while going to the others with Victor. I know this just sounds like another rage rant but please do something to fix this it's not okay.

Twins are indeed very strong against survivors, that don't know how to play against her. But this killer is hard countered by knowledge, SWF (or at least game sense in whole team), stairs, lockers (if you can create distance), healthy survivor (that knows to bodyblock), keeping victor hostage, and so on.

The killer is actually quite hard to play right once you (and your team) know what to do. There are huge number of counterplays against her. And actually her long CD's are IMO the main reason, why you barely ever see this killer.

True but the map we were on had like nothing to counter plus I play solo and pretty sure the others weren't together so there was not much teamwork

Unfortunately prestige means absolutely nothing and double unfortunately, this is a team game. A couple weak links means everyone loses.

you do not counter victor by spinning. you counter victor by hold-w during pounce charge up and predicting the trajectory. learn to play issue.

    This is bait, right?

First of all, prestige doesn't mean anything.

This game has MMR system. It's not good one, but the fact they play with beginner tells something...

Twins is not popular killer. Lot of new players have never played against them, so they don't know what to do.

That's the whole design philosophy of twins, two killers working together. Twins is countered very easily by general knowledge of how to do so. For example, victor is very oppressive when multiple survivors are injured. While if everyone is healed up, he can get 1 injury off. What you mentioned about victor being undodgeable is solved by this as well, you'll still get hit but you wont go down. Plus you can crush victor with pallets, kick him after getting a down (then res the teammate if charlotte is far away), or just not crush him while he's attached to you so he cant do anything for 30s.

About the slugging; its built into their power. You cant play twins without slugging, its just not possible. Charlotte is always going to have to walk to get someone victor downed. And you will always have to slug to get multiple downs with victor. But to be fair that's the same for all killers if you want to snowball. If you are injured, like I said an easy fix is to heal. But I recognize thats kinda hard in soloQ when you dont know where anyone is. You can stick together to stop victor from snowballing, as every down he gets he can get kicked. This will also help with healing up. If everyone has this in mind then smart survivors will be able to stop victor in his tracks.

About victor being able to patrol gens; thats actually pretty easy to counter. For one you can heal but we've been over that, he cant get an easy down if he cant down you period. Looping victor is actually possible, any pallet loop can be used to waste his time and potentially crush him. And if victor is being used to watch a gen and charlottes the one patrolling, you can actually crouch to stop her from getting killer instinct on you. That way you can crush him without charlotte being able to swap over and stop you.

    general tips

    • heal up
    • try to stick with someone while victors out
    • crouch to counter victor radar
    • try to lead charlotte away from where victor is while being chased by her. This way shes just an M1 killer.
    • Relating to how you cant dodge victor, you can jump in a locker. If you were going to go down anyway, forcing victor to locker search can save you. If charlottes far enough, you can escape the locker before she arrives and then you are home free.

Teamwork is hard to come by in soloQ, and since twins is hard countered by it it can be difficult. But just doing some simple things like prioritizing heals when you can and forcing distance between the two killers can make all the difference.

@nars actually gave some pretty sound advice.

The thing that were not mentioned considering actual chase:

1, victor is hard-countered by very short loops (think sanctum of wrath's figurines - trees are a little too narrow, but they can work too (you just need good reflexes when victor double backs to the opposite side), single rocks are mostly too wide, but they can also work sometimes). The idea is, that Victor can either run very quickly, or he can charge his pounce. But he can't do both at the same time. And while he is charging, he's super slow. So going around these objects when Victor is hunting you basically guarantees, he won't be able to jump to you before you can hide behind the obstacle.

2, pallets works awful and great against victor at the same time. To explain - dropping pallet holds you in animation and most victors will have enough time to charge their pounce to jump at you. So dropping for stuns is generally very bad idea that backfires almost always (similar to nurse actually - you can pull it off, but you will most likely get hit instead). On the other hand, pre-dropping works insanely good. Victor can't move thru pallet. He can only jump over it. So if you are not directly in the line-of-sight, he will need to go around loop (giving you time to vault on the other side to repeat everything), or jump thru the pallet (which leaves him very vulnerable to be kicked, or at least for you to vault back). This does not work on every loop, because sometimes victor can pounce on both sides of pallets from some spot, but say jungle gyms work very much in your favor for predrops (you still need to be aware, if you have slow reaction, then Victor will still hit you - but the odds are in your favor).

Good luck in the future :) Twins are definitely one of those killers that can be countered if you know what to do
