Event and event interactions are horrible
For now... hard start. 2 Skull merchants, all 3 gen playing. No chance. 2 Tunneling Killer.
Well you cant do anything about the players sadly.
And why you can collect invitations that are really good on killer but horrible for survivors?
You can spawn a pallet as a survivor, but only in chase and you need to spam q. And when i used it on a killer, it breaks directly and doesnt give a stun. Not worth it.
You can block Windows, which is also buggy. Killer can vault anyway.
But killers can get endurance with invitations?
Break pallets like Knight? (Every pallet)
How is this fair?
I happily waited for the event, but some players want to make some people suffer (a lot of toxic guys, who stated that they dont want to play the event, just trying to make the time survivors have miserable).
Its sad. Maybe i try tomorrow again.

Oh i forgot the mention, instead of making the masks casual, devs even try to push people in to playing hardcore.
You only get masks if you escape AND Killer only get masks in the endgame.

So as killer is have to purposely get to end game to get the Mask ?

pretty sure you get them when you don't escape too? I've been getting them lol
Edit: never mind every game the hatch has been closed then I died. So makes sense lol. Has to be when gates are powered

Because when it wasn't tied to escape, the event was filled with survivors who rush the event objective and kill themselves on hook.

So how do you unlock a Mask? Glad you asked. To unlock a Mask as both Killers and Survivors, you must have at least one charge remaining in your Invitation when the Exit Gates or Hatch open. Of course, you’ll have to resist the urge to use all those sweet charges during the Trial, but that’s your decision to make.
As Killer it's basically "play a match without disconnecting after finding an invitation" and you get it. Maybe I'm being dumb but I can't see a scenario where you don't unlock a mask once you have an invitation as Killer unless you DC.

Just to point out the opposite side to that: When the killer "chases" multiple survivors all of them can spawn pallets and the cooldown for spawning them isnt that long tbh. If u get an swf that just keeps respawning a god pallet in a strong loop they can completely lock u down which happened to me.

What the hell is with this event and this particular achievement?
I collected a lot of invitations and pressed Q in a chase for damn 20 times and got some effect I don't even know what it's doing and the challenge isn't completed, #########

Other thing I don't like about the event. The gen auras looking yellow for killers: Perks like Surveillance and Discordance are mostly useless during the event.

Have you checked your controls in the parameters? It wasn't working for me so I changed the key binding and now it's fine.

I think this is the first event i start off by playing killer and i absolutely recommend it because it's been lots of fun for me :) I play the game normally but stop hooking survivors who are on death hook so everyone gets their rewards and so far everyone's been wholesome and happy both in game and in post game chat.
The only thing I'm having problem with is invitation interactions that are a bit clunky and sometimes make my FPS drop.

You get everything eventually anyway. The event should be casual and fun and not be forced to do something.

Having teammates who are just grinding out the collectibles when the event lasts multiple weeks isn't fun. Besides no one is forcing you to get all the collectibles on survivor. If you really must get all the collectibles in a single day, just play killer.

I got some masks while being the only one the killer sacrificed. So far so good - ppl bring lots of terrormisu so BPs keep coming.

You do not need to escape to get a mask. You only need to make it to the gates being opened or hatch.

So how does the party pallet work? Smashing it results in destruction. Is it an "effect" only or when actioned at the right time it actually stuns the killer?

It's so unfortunate that every single year the anniversary brings out the absolute worst in people. It's the same thing every year— killers especially get ultra sweaty and camp/tunnel/bm in every match. I mean, it's always like that, but with events it's every match, you know?
