Corrupt data found since 7.0.1
Hello,
Since 7.0.1, when a match is loading, I have ~10% chance to get this "Corrupt data found" error.
In the Epic Games Launcher, I did "Library", "...", "Manage" and "Verify".
But even like that I still get the error.
My friend has the exact same problem.
Also, I see several bug reports about this problem:

And all these bug reports have been closed with the reason "Not a Bug".

Good evening everybody,
i suffer from the same problem, ever since the EPIC Launcher patched DBD i get this error message whilst in the loading screen.
Which means that my survivor-team has to go with 3 players. I have not tried to play killer yet.
I verified my files via EPIC once, re-installed DBD, restartet my computer, switched from fixed IP address to whatever my router chooses and still....
You might not be willing to aknowledge this as an bug, but it sure feels like one.
After all that time, sweat, blood and money i spend on DBD i would love to see this get fixed ASAP.

I'm facing the same issue. Only with every 2nd or 3rd match.
Because of the crash all items / add-ons are lost.
The timing is "perfect". 😣

Happens when you load in the autohaven map.. i wonder if it's epic users only..

I do not get how the community would help me fix a BUG, not a technical issue, that a lot of people are reporting about it. I literally created an account to report it, just to be shut down from a moderator, closing my FORUM.

I'm facing the same issue , I get the "serialization error , corrupt data found" pop-up message in the loading screen and when I restart the game it just kicks me out of the lobby saying "Disconnected from host". I tried everything like the others said and still can't find a workaround.
The first time it happened someone did burn a key offering iirc ( not 100% sure), but now it crashes regardless of the map.

I was very surprised (and disappointed) to see it happen.
We are customer and expect customer support from the developers.
To be on topic: the problem persists with the ongoing event. Again, items are lost so it is not just a simple restart / verify.

I have the same issue.
I tried to play killer and survivor, and both games crashed.
I hope it will be fixed as soon as possible.

Quick question, have you forced closed the EGS launcher and then tried to reboot?

I only force closed the game because it was not responding, after the corrupt data bug occured.

just did, then used the Azarov's key offering to cause the error to appear and it did.

I did that, relaunched and went into custom game. Launched a game on Ormond and it worked, launched a game on Autohaven and it crashed again.

Even tried to force close the EGS launcher while in the game and then try to enter a custom game with the offering for the autohaven map.
I tried to Verify the game files via Epic Launcher, Tried to Repair the anti cheat, none of them fixed it for me.

I did this. The issue is now constant disconnect (dedicated server not responding).

Does the error occurs on autohaven or everyboy's corruption is different?

I am writing this because since version 7.0.0 I have had the following error: Serialization error: corrupt data found, please verify your installation. This happens when the match starts loading, just after the offerings are displayed. The weird thing about this error is that it doesn't always happen, I've been able to play four games in a row and it works fine, then I go to the next one and it comes out of nowhere. I checked the game files and also reinstalled the game. I play on Epic Games. I want to play properly and more now that there is the anniversary event.

To summarize:
1) The issue I'm facing occurs on the loading screen. I see no map as the game crashes before the match begins.
2) The 2nd type of error does not allow me entering into lobbies due to disconnect.
Game files verified, Epic launcher force closed as per above advice.

Same here. Reinstalling the game didn't help. I'm on Epic games.

First thing, why my post got closed "as duplicate" if it was from 10:17AM and this one is from 11:34AM you should close this one as a duplicate lol.
Second thing I could not talk because someone closed my "just talking" post. If you close IMPORTANT tickets (that are from 2am btw) you could not close them, but just throw them to the right section right? or your system can not do that lol, OR just send a message "we do not do a tech support here, send a ticket to our dev squad (here link) blah blah nice day" but you just close the ticket out of nowhere, where some people seek help. Its natural some will get angry

I hope Autohaven gets killswitched asap (unless it's just a coincidence and not the cause of the problem of course), I don't want to play russian roulette everytime I launch a game and I don't want to have to use other map offerings to avoid it. It just absolutely sucks that this happens during the event...

To be fair they don't decline the other topics about this bc they don't care but so all the complaints would be on the same discussion to make it easier for the Devs to gather reports and figure out what's happening (and they do this with every bug that gets reported a lot, which isn't usually the case for small bugs like achievements ones)

your explanation is perfect - yes thank you. For visibility purposes it made sense to have one thread, in the main part of the forum also (it helps to cut down on duplicates), so that I can accurately see the scope of the problem and get logs from players - the logs were imperative to help assess the issue.
Thank you all for your help on this, sorry that it's been an inconvenience and that you've had your matches ruined, we are working on this as a matter of urgency.
As an update, we will be kill switching Autohaven Realm very shortly due to this issue. Whilst the team addresses a fix, so you can continue to enjoy the Event.

I wish readability was the sole reason lol. If you read those closed posts, you can see that they were closed because of this issue "not being a bug". Also, I hope that something glitched and my first comment like this was not removed by a moderator, but disappeared because of... reasons.
