Sadako is so weak
Without her iri tape and the other heal addon, she is so useless, who had the idea of 100 secs of cooldown for a teleport

Did she get nerfed? Because I have had no problems getting 4Ks on her.

Sounds great, can you post your youtube videos showing how easy it is to get 4ks on her without this build? Would love to learn what i'm doing wrong with her. You think i'd know after 3k hours but its tough out there.

Without what build? You didn't list a build. I mean there are times the survivors will be better and there are times the map isn't great for Sadako... but most of the time I do pretty well on her.

The OP is talking about the iri tape addon, which generally goes with the condem build. Looking forward to your youtube videos showcasing your super skills!

I don't do youtube videos but I also don't go for condemn kills. I rarely see anyone get condemned when I play sadako... I go for slow down and devour hope.
Edit: the build ive been running is: Devour Hope, Pain res, fear monger, and merciless storm. Pain res will proc merciless storm if theyre on the gen when you hook. I like to run Clump of Hair and Reiko's watch addons.

I'm the same! I like slowdown on Sadako and usually do pretty well with her. Never tried the condemed strategy before lol.

Ah, so you somehow have discovered some amazing way to play the killer that people who play this game for a job are not aware of that is effective and works that isn't the condemn build. But yet you have no way to actually prove your claims or show it off? How unfortunate. OBS is free to download and should only take a few minutes to setup and you can record your game for us. We would love to learn what we are all doing wrong with this killer.

Are you ok? Why are you so pressed that someone enjoys and is good at playing a certain killer? lol Why does that person have anything to prove to you? Maybe they're new, maybe they've 5K hours - what's it to you?

This thread started with OP stating something that i believe to be true along with nearly every content creator for DBD. Then, this person comes in, and says: "Shes fine, i have no problems 4king with her" Based on that, either one of 3 things must be true:
- 1. The person in question has low/average MMR, so the survivors they are going against are of average MMR, and data indicates that this means that sadako is actually OP in average level play
- 2. The person in question has discovered something that many many people have not been able to discover and is actually able to use sadako in a way that is yet to be discovered, or at least widely shared among the community.
- 3. The person is lying or overestimates how often they win.
Now, i personally doubt they are lying (i tend to assume ignorance rather than malice in cases where i think people are wrong about something), but they could be overestimating how often they "have no problems getting 4ks". I'm inclined to believe it is likely that they are overestimating how well they are playing, but that 1 could also be the reality. Which, if it is, great, i'm happy for them that they are able to do well with her and have no issues with them at all. I'm not here to insult people's skill level.
What i'm hoping, is that i am wrong, and that it is actually 2. And that they have discovered something that is no widely known or shared among the community. Because if it is 2, then it means that we have all be playing her wrong, and can learn quite a bit from this person.
This is why i'm hoping for a video showcasing their matches. Preferably more than 1, as RNG weighs heavily in this game. Because i sincerely hope that the scenario that is happening here is "2" and that we can all learn something from this player.

Ok but why do you care? lol I get it's nice to learn from people but just assume the best of the person and everyone can be happy for the rest of rest day :) Also was Sadako not one of the top performing killers in High MMR based on the data the devs gave us a while back?

I'd argue but their response about Trapper basically confirms this.

I never said she was fine. I asked if she got nerfed. I never once said she was fine. I just get 4ks on her. Devour hope is easy to stack when you can port across the map. You have no idea what my MMR is. You're just assuming its low because you're bad at sadako.

I...literally explained to you why i care?

Maybe you're just wrong. I don't know why you're so bent out of shape because I asked if she got nerfed.

I hate that I have to wait for the survivor I'm chasing to finish vaulting before I can start vaulting while I'm intangible. Cocky survivors slow vault on purplose just to be jerks about it.
It's far worse when I spam the vault button but a second survivor gets to cut in line and vault, making me wait even longer.

I really feel like you are all assuming i'm being rude here.
I WANT to be wrong, that's why i really want you to share a video so we can all learn from it.
2 -
if you don't even know her best build then you should be on here talking as she's good lol because she isn't

For what it's worth I've got a vid featuring a 3k w/ hatch escape, one of which was a Condemned kill, without using Iri Tape/Ring Drawing.
I don't claim to be anything like an Onryô main or high MMR player, but you asked for a video and I can provide, so here ya go.
My build was A Nurse's Calling, Gearhead, Hex: Face the Darkness, and Sloppy Butcher with the add-ons that make Survivors hear TVs Oblivious and Blind.

The Dwight in the video got fully condemn from start to finish without you doing anything. Maybe that explains extremely high kill-rate. I wish i could just walk to people as manifested and get free hits on gens and TP to TV where survivor sits on gens. Almost nobody runs to any of pallet loops until like 8:30. Bill is only survivor on that team that semi-knows what he is doing. All the other survivor should be equipping window of opportunity. DBD is very different game depends how skilled survivor is.
---
After looking at post patch screen. it makes a lot of sense when two of survivor have no perks.
3 -
It wasn't no perks, but was still yellow and green and only 1 or 2, so your point stands
I think the Dwight was on tape duty and Face the Darkness helped me interrupt him when I finally got him. I honestly got pretty consistent value out of each perk. (Also did you notice Face the Darkness made him scream even after I'd killed him?)
Being able to approach while manifested may have been Rickety Pinwheel value, as well, though I mostly brought it to complement Face the Darkness and maybe prompt some survivors to go for TVs.
My next time using that build was a 2k on Midwich. I put that more on me than anything else, since I know that's considered a good Sadako map.

Rickety pinwheel only works when a TV is currently on. At the start of the trial, all TV are turned off for first 30 seconds. When Sadako is in manifest, she emits a lullaby effect that is not affected by the oblivious status effect. It is ok. DBD is balanced around that level of play. I can completely understand 63% kill-rate of the killer. I mean you getting free mori's. Everything make sense.

I thought you were referring to something that occurred further in than the very start, like right after a teleport or something. I know I managed a few hits on teleports, like the interrupted heal by the log pile or (I think) Zarina's first down.
