BHVR has stats and data they can use. Specifically they can correlate the perk usage with escape rate to have an idea of how effective the perk is overall. If the perk usage is low, and the escape rate isn't significantly changed by running the perk over other options (Sprint burst or lithe), then they likely won't make changes.
If killers are really still getting 4ks like crazy even with MfT in play, then it sounds like you're arguing that survivor perks need to be even stronger to have a chance.
But the idea that killers are tunneling only because of this perk, or weren't tunneling before this chapter release, or would suddenly, immediately stop tunneling if this perk were deleted... are all absolutely ridiculous. You seen to be simultaneously arguing that killers can easily get a 4k by tunneling, yet MfT is so overpowered that it makes killer impossible and needs a nerf. Pick one, at most.

The game is in such a great state and it's the most balanced it's ever been. To say that for 7 years straight you have to endure OP things for survivors like if killers didn't get anything is just oblivious and ignorant to say.
MFT might not be nerfed anytime soon (and thank god, let the more variety of strong perks the better), instead a new killer perk will be added likely to counter it more directly even though there are already counters (maybe more niche ones). It's how the game has always worked, plenty of new content (perks, killers, etc.) are ways to counter things that are strong, or just in general existing things. If you can't find a proper counter or don't know how to play against MFT, don't worry, a new perk will be released soon I'd guess. The perk needs to definitely stay strong.
Cheers :)

They are synonymous.
That is not to say that they mean the same thing.
What is your point?

It have "no issue" only if survivors aren't capable of proper looping, and game better not be balanced around those who don't know the basic mechanics.

They're not nerfing MFT right now, they already said this

I get Object of Obsession flashback from this.
"That perk is fine, survivors using it have low escape rate"
Who would have thought that survivors who want to get chased die more.

Lmao this perk is not stronger than old school DH get real

Well MFT is strong but it’s not a guarantee safety net like old school DH was since in order to get the full benefit from MFT there has to be pallets to loop with and a few extra secs can buy some time but if the pallets are wasted or if map rng isn’t in your fav then MFT won’t help you very much
old school DH gave a huge dash with i frames and especially if the killer swings than thatcould guarantee a survivor safely to another loop MFT doesn’t guarantee you safety like thati
I use MFT this and does it help? Yes
Am I guaranteed safety from running the perk? No

Old school DH did nothing in most situations beside looping, if old DH guaranteed another loop, so does MFT.
The distance old DH made was extremely short, and were even limited to once per chase.

I’m sorry are we remembering the same old school DH back on 2016-17

If I've had that many matches as each of those Killers at least once (seeing an enemy MfT user), then the matchmaking is loose enough to have you win even with enemies bringing MfT. It would be a grievous error to only count Killer losses, as Killer victories (even if far more frequent) are still occurring even in the presence of MfT.
Alternatively I would agree with a hard deletion of MfT alongside the deletion of Blight, or maybe Plague if you ask me on an odd day. Basekit Blight provides far more value than all 4 Survivors bringing MfT. That is if we are taking the extreme idea that just because something has the potential to be overpowering (or more accurately for MfT, annoying) then we must remove it. (Plague just because I hate how the Killer hard deletes Altruism as a category for Survivors to interact with. If there was a basekit altruistic method of dealing with Plague like filling a vial from a fountain as a consumable item modified by heal speeds, I'd hate her less. Also I hate how she can injure Survivors without using PWYF stacks, but that is a niche abuse.)

Have you ever played against old DH? This isn't even CLOSE to it lmao

Conveniently forgetting that not every killer has a power designed for chases...

Conveniently responding to my first of many comments in this thread, as if I didn't address killers without powers designed for chases...
