I escaped but I de-pipped?
Apparently completing all gens and getting a 4 man out can make you de-pip as survivor in irri rank. That probably shouldn't be a thing, just saying.

It's there to motivate survivors interact with each other and killer.
Technically it's fair as it does punish survivors who only concentrated on gens and didn't do anything else, as well as if one survivor kept killer occupied for 4 or 5 gens but did nothing else.
To prevent that, some other action should be done, which includes healing, unhooking, taking protection hits, cleansing totems. Without them, it's very likely you will end up depiped.

Because everyone can go full rat and sit on gens without doing anything else.
This goes both ways as if killer just slugs everyone from minute 1 at 5 gens.

I feel the pipping system for survivors is unfair because a lot of times rather I pip or not can depend on how others rather it be the killer or survivors play
for example if a killer wants to camp with leather face how can I get the points?

When you hit gold or red grade, you need to do a lot of things in a single trial, thats why when you espaced without difficulty, the game say "nope", if both team (killer and survivors) struggle or "farm" they both earn a single pip, and thats make no sense neither :/
I aggree with u, when a survivor espaced he needs to earn a pip, same for killer.

You're not being punished for doing your objective, you're being punished for doing half of it.

I agree and its the same with killers.
Main objective is to Kill survivors, everything else is secondary.
they should reward people according to the end result of the match, not what's in between or how it went there.
It's absolutely dumb to see one side purposefully throw a game in hopes the other side gets no pip, whoever thought that design was good needs a reality check.

Except it's not the survivors' fault if there isn't anyone to unhook or heal, or enough for all of them ?
If survivors all escape obviously the ones who only did gens didn't need to do anything else and they shouldn't be punished for it.
Survivors should automatically get the safety pip if they escape. It's not their fault the killer is bad or afk (and running after the killer to get hit and prolonging the game to get BPs is vividly complained about)

As killer it happened to me on several occasion that people just "gave up on hooks" an ran to me to die because of a misplay and at the 4K victory screen, I de-piped.
can you imagine being De-piped because you WON TOO HARD!?

Exactly. The number of times I let survivors reset instead of ending the game because if I don't none of us are getting BPs or safety pip is silly.
Safety pip should be ensured for survivors who escape through the gates and killers who get a 3K. Being punished because you stomped your opponent(s) makes no sense.
