It's high time for Corrupt Intervention to be part of the base kit
I think there's no need to elaborate further on the subject. Simply put, 99.9% of killers NEED to use a perk in order to have a fair match. Since it has become a trend to turn fundamental perks into base kits, we can't overlook Corrupt Intervention.

Nah, if that happen survivors just gonna hide until gens are uncovered again

i do tend to find if i go against a killer without corrupt just before or shortly after that first hook 3 gens tend to be done.
However if it was basekit i do thing a lot of good players will just wait it out

Give killers base kit Corrupt intervention and make it so that the perk itself now grant the ability to keep the gen locked even after a down for its full duration.

I'd rather have lethal tbh, I do want to chase than playing hide and seek until a gen pops.

it would be way too much against new players imo. those are already at a disadvantage so making it easier for killer at low mmr and making Survivor harder is a way to ruin the game.
I'd just rather corrupt be buffed i don't mind taking a perk slot for it it's one of my favorite perks ir at least used to be :(.

They are too quick to get a down, unlikely to get value from corrupt.

It would also push the survivors to play smarter; when you load in and on the edge of the map next to a gen, that's a gen you do NOT want to do just save for the end.
Corrupt force survivors to go inward more and get those center gens which are the main ones you want to get out first to prevent a 3 gen. This change would make some survivors better and then it'll be MORE complaints from killers.

Agreed; in all honesty any type of slow down be it gen/healing is overkill on them, they can start and end a chase so fast it's unneccesary to stack slow downs unless you want to play evil lol.

Horrible idea. Especially after next patch. It would require some serious balancing to counter - like basekit DS that works on both unhooks - the perk would just make the stun take 5s instead

They seem to be moving DBD towards slowing the game down from direct efforts of the killer, primarily through chase, and not passively with perks.
Like with the changes to healing, you have to land hits to get the benefit of taking survs off of gens to even attempt to heal. Prolly why Sloppy is even more popular now, it doubles down on the healing changes.
