Scourge: Pain Resonance needs to get the Ruin or Thana treatment

How is it fair Killer get early 3 vs 1 and still get a whopping 25% on remaining 3?

No, PR doesn't need the ruin treatment.

Because Pain Res can physically only trigger 4 times, and only if you down them and hook them on 1/4 specific hooks whose placements are complete rng.

You Tunnel a Survivor out before a Gen gets done. You still get Tokens on 3 who are left. Scourge: Pain Resonance should be like Thana and deactivate once Survivor Sacrificed.

Why do people hate it so much it's a good rework of the perk that trades consistent gen pressure for having more impactful slowdown like as soon as you finish the first chase you can save a gen from popping. It also tries to discourage tunneling which any slowdown + tunneling is going to be good it's not rocket science.

Thana does not deactive on 3 left. Maybe you meant Dying Light, wenn you kill the obsession, this perk will deactivate as well (since there's no obsession anymore)

Pain Res works once per survivor. If you're tunnelling a survivor out, then you're sitting on a useless perk for as long as that tunnelling takes, while the rest slam gens with impunity. You want that regression where it counts, which means before gens are completed.

PR is not strong anymore, 4 uses only, and if you need that 25% reduction but hook someone that already got hook on PR, you will not activity the perk and probably lose a gen.

Maybe offer constructive advise regarding the perk rather than being rude to someone, please remember that newer players are part of this forum as well, and they have valid opinions to share. Being rude and unconstructive in your point helps nobody!

I feel like Pain Res is in a weird spot. It can be really powerful if you manage to regress gens that have 25%+ progress, however if they pop in your face while you're carrying the survivor to a scourge hook, then you either risk hooking and wasting a token on a 2% gen, or drop and risk the survivor wiggling off.

How about a compromise? I think Pain Res has the potential to create a tunnel and camp-free meta. Here is my idea:
-Lower the regression from 25% to 15% (or you could make it so its 25% of CURRENT progress)
-Remove the "Scourge" requirement
-When all 4 stacks are used up, they refresh, BUT if at any time you hook a survivor that doesn't have a stack available (aka tunnel) OR you are in 32m proximity of a hooked survivor that goes into struggle state (aka camp), you lose the perk for the rest of the game
As such killers will be incentivized to go for fresh hooks and survivors would get an equal amount of action, we can reward killers for their hard work and at the same time reward survivors with fun chases instead of boring M1 simulator.
