Who has the most hours at BHVR? And how many?

There are some very questionable changes that happen that most experienced players say are obvious design flaws. I would like to see if anyone at bhvr has more than 2k hours in the game.

I remember a video where someone was searching for the Devs on steam via their alias they used in the game's common perks descriptions or some items (like Alex's Toolbox). He found almost all of them and one of those had an account with 6 achievements and 44k hrs.

Make of that what you want.

I just remembered that McLean was the only Dev I know of, who actively played the game a lot until he left BHVR 2 years ago (i think). I don't know his exact hours and I don't know if he still plays dbd but he was very knowledgeable. He also did really cool changes back in the day like fixing Blights camera height to what it is now (it was so low like when you crouch as pig). He also had his concerns about CoH being so strong when it came out. I don't remember what he said he wished it would be, but I know that he certainly disliked how it gave you We'll Make It when healing others and a green medkit when healing yourself.

I'd presume the play testers have the most hours...no clue how much however.

Remember the game isn't made for the most experienced players in most instances, its made for your average player.

if u were baking a cake, and were having trouble, who would u ask for help? the 5 star baker or the person who doesnt know how to turn on an oven? i understand there are more average players than people with 5k plus hours but experience knows all

That way of putting it is flawed, bHVR isnt trying to make the perfect match. a better way would be saying bHVR is making Cakemix, a product which can be used by both a 5 star baker or a random person. Its no use if the Cakemix is made specifically for the 5 star baker, because with all due respect the 5 star baker isn't who they are selling to. They are selling to everybody.

although everyones eating the cake, you want it to be the best right? so have the 5 star baker help make the cake. also saying that everyone is using the cakemix means that everyones making the cake, which is thankfully not true

Ill be honest, 5star chefs don't make the best food for me, because we all have different tastes. if you assume 5star chefs make the best food, then you are wrong. Same thing with dbd, You dont want the top MMR players saying what the game should be.
