Dbd on ps4 refuses to progress beyond the initialization completed screen
When booting up dbd ps4 the loading process proceeds like normal until the initialization completed screen where the game stops and doesn’t start.

Hey Jocelyn same issue here. Can confirm that restarting the game/console & deleting the game before downloading it again won’t fix it.

When starting the game it will load until the initialization complete prompt appears after that nothing it is stuck there until you close the app this happens every time no matter what

I don't know if it's useful but I noticed I can login just fine with my secondary account (with no purchases made), but if I try to login with my main account (where I bought many dlcs) on the same ps4 I'll get stuck at "Initialization completed".

I had just downloaded the latest update to the game on my PS5, and when I tried to play the game after it finished downloaded, everything seemed completely fine, but then it got to the "Initialization Completed" screen, and then it just stayed like that, it doesn't say it's an error or anything, it literally says that it's completed, but the game just isn't loading, and this ONLY happened after I installed the new update, this wasn't happening anytime before it, and I've tried everything I can do to fix it, changing my wifi, restarting my PS5, etc., so it MUST be something on the developers end.

I'm having same issue too 18hrs late still wont go past initializing complete screen. I've deleted and reinstalled game 3 times, rebuilt database, cleared cache several times, ps4 is lined to modem, the system is fully updated. Nothing has worked..Ive done everything possible just short of doing a system restore and starting from scratch

I play on PS5 but downloaded PS4 version to test this, several times loading lasted over 10+ minutes, never started the game at all. When I start PS5 version it starts normally like before so dunno whats going on but its probably not ID/user related

i have the same issu bloqued on "initalization Completed". I can connect with the account of my friend who has never played DBD on ps4 but not mine, is it possible to find a solution? instalation, uninstallation, clearing the cache does not work.
