Free to play
I’m not sure if bhvr is in any talks about it or have talked about it, but in this day and age I think the game should go free to play. My reasonings being that with the amount of micro transactions that are in the game that you need if you want more perks or survivors or killers. I feel like having a pay wall on the game then having to buy characters and cosmetics are just not it. Making the game free to play could introduce a lot of players just to try the game just because it’s free and could justify all the micro transactions in the game. Another idea is reworking the battle pass. As of right now I feel the battle pass is so underwhelming and is the reason why I haven’t ever bought into it. The game going free to play could hopefully make bhvr out lots of more effort into making the battle pass better as well as including a new survivor and killer in every battle pass which you could pay let’s say 10 USD to have both of them unlocked and have some cosmetics in the pass as well. So the game will be free as well have more people want to get the battle pass for the new killer and survivor which could bring them more money in cause trying the game is free and people could buy the battle pass if new players enjoy it and the community who already play the game will guarantee buy the battle pass because it will have the new survivor and killer in the battle pass anyways. So it’s guaranteed lots of money for them as well better marketing towards the players instead of having to buy the game and then cosmetic’s as well. So the game being free will make the cosmetics and battle pass more appealing. I could go a lot more detail into this but I don’t want this to be tooooo long. So hopefully bhvr or someone will see this and just consider these possibilities.

I'm pretty sure bhvr has forgotten this game costs money

i do agree the price of the microtransactions is giving f2p game vibes but i don't think free to play is the way to go, i don't want to tempt the possibility of a cheater resurgence it really isn't that worth it imho

The reason why there are so much cheaters in the game is because DBD went F2P on Epic games. So no.

Technically the game is f2p, epic games give dbd for free and we have a lot of cheaters that day and is "free" on the Xbox game pass, Amazon prime give a lot of things, the DLCs is not a big deal, they are very cheap for me, so buying isn't a problem, people can easily buy 2 or 3 DLCs per month.
