I have an idea regarding the "Deep Rift" Cosmetics.

So let's say this:

  • You took a Break from DBD or weren't able to play it for a while
  • The Tome had a Cosmetic from the Character you Main and you really wanted it because it looked good.
  • You weren't Able to get the Cosmetic because of the Reason Mentioned above and now its gone forever.

I had a idea regarding this, that should:

  • Respect the People who currently own these Cosmetics
  • Stop people from overselling them Online or even Scam that person in the process
  • Make the Rift 80 stage, a more motivative one.
  • Grant you to still recieve that wanted Cosmetic

My Idea is that combined with the "Shrine of Secrets", there will be a tab to the right where each 7 Days alongside the Shrine, 2 New Deep Rift outfits for a Survivor and Killer will be featured.

But instead of being able to buy them with regular shards you have to:

  • Reach Stage 80 In the Rift and recieve the "Iridescent Dark Blue Shard" which will allow you to buy, one of the said Cosmetics in the Shrine.

If this should be included in the "Free" or "Premium" Reward Track is up to how well this is even recieved, since i have a feeling that people might not like my idea.

Anyway, please share your thoughts and im happy to read your opinion on my Idea.

I kind of like the idea you are going for. But instead of say the 7 days to unlock said outfits. You are given more days to unlock say the same amount of time the rifts you gives you. Which is about 70 days ish correct me if I’m wrong. But overall your idea is good and interesting.

I am very much opposed to anything in the game being exclusive. People miss out on timed cosmetics simply because they go on holiday, end up in hospital or have other things happening in life.

Everything should end up in store including charms. Just make them harder to get in store. For example, charms should be 2K shards per charm or more depending on rarity.

Make a deep rift outfit 50K shards to unlock. Hard to get but if you really want it, you can still grind for it. They might also want to give you an option to buy it with Auric Cells, which would make them a lot of money.

That was my idea originally, but i just wanted to respect the people who owned these cosmetics.

Yet putting it at a high amount does make it better and still respects them.

And the reason you stated is exactly why i came up with this idea.

I for example wanted Ghostface's and Mikaela's Outfits (Mainly Mikaela.) but just because i was gone for some time missed them out completely and have no way of getting them anymore.

It just kinda sucks since you really liked that cosmetic, but aren't able to get them anymore.

OK, so I like this idea very much!

I feel like the team is really making new players feel included by bringing to the store skins from past Rifts, but I’m also a Mikaela main and I am sad (but also hopeful) everytime I think about Bewitching Barista skins. I am hopeful that one day we’re all going to get the chance to buy the regular skin, but also a bit sad that the team hasn’t came up with an idea to make Deep Rifts skins available as well.

I think everyone should have the opportunity to get their favorite characters’ outfits to really complete their collection. I know I am doing everything I can, and I have already 65/65 items regarding Ms. Reid, but it would be just awesome if I could get them all!

I recently opened a Discussion about my wish, and I hope the team is really considering all of that and listening to people that want to see it happening. Someone commented on my post about the whole meaning of exclusivity regarding Deep Rifts cosmetics, and I understand, but it seems to me that a challenge like you proposed really makes a lot of sense and should be considered for real!
