Plot twist is in fact a VERY bad perk and here's why
First, you take longer to recover than it would take to heal yourself or let someone heal you.
You aren't available for for 30 seconds, and then you get back up so you can help your team again, in the mean time, other surivivors are getting chased, maybe only 1 is working on a generator, and maybe 1 or 2 is on a hook.
So you are on the floor for 30 seconds waiting to recover 1!!! health state (because you were injured and went down to be healthy) when it could take 16 seconds(or 20) with someone else or 24 to heal yourself with a medkit, while the killer apply pressure on everyone else.
You are literally murdering your team for a whole 30 seconds when doing that, I had a match just now, I was playing Myers, Meg saved cage from the hook and I hooked her, I went for someone else and when I downed that other survivor I noticed cage was Plot twisting, I hook the other survivor and the third survivor was near where I downed the second survivor, so they couldn't help since I was T3 and would take chase on them, so because of plot twist, the Meg died.
Plot twist literally took away 1 of his teammates because cage forced himself so hard to get value out of it.
"i'll get in a corner and plot twist" waste 10+ seconds to reach the corner, go down for 30 seconds THEN get back up and go back to a gen or help the other survivors, you wasted 40+ seconds being useless to your team being a 3v1 for that time. you aren't helping in any way using plot twist.
Stop using that perk, you are NOT helping your team, in the 1/15 matches it will be game changing, the other 14 ones aren't helping.

I couldn't care less. It's a funny and very different perk from everything else we have and it helps break the mold.

Counterpoint: it’s funny

Nah I'm gonna keep using it. You want to play optimally? Find friends to play with.
16 -
And then you use it with unbreakable and it's a free heal with no med-kit required.
1 -
So now killers are complaining of perks that they say are helping them get survivors out of the game? 🤣
2 -
It’s faster than self care though

I wouldn't really say Plot Twist is useless. There's far worse perks in the game than it. Honestly the only real issue is some people shotgun plot twist immediately instead of being smart about it.

Using plot twist at the gate to time a body block perfectly gigachad move
2 -
yes, always will be.

Y'all are forgetting the free sprint burst that comes with it.

Nah, I love using it in solo queue. I get the teammates that won't heal so I enjoy going off to a corner and laying down for 30 seconds. It's funny to use to in some matches. Especially ones that are a lost cause, if I'm the last survivor sometimes I'll just use it in their face. Some killers get a laugh.

This actually isn't true if you pair self-care with botany + desperate measures and there are 3 or more people injured that becomes a faster heal than plot twist + unbreakable. Even at 2 people injured plot twist/unbreakable is only faster by a about .6 seconds.
Now granted one is 3 perks and the other is only 2 but one is also unlimited where the other can only be used once or twice a game.

Compare to selfcare, it is still a better option.
And lot of people still using selfcare.

which makes no sense

I once used it to get a sandbagger hit, i was in a chase and an Ada (its always an Ada main) thought it'd be funny to block a door on RPD, so i managed to plot twist in time to have the Killer hit her instead, he downed her quickly and she disconnected after that. I was lucky he didn't bother to pick me up.
Its S Tier in my heart even if they nerf it into the ground.

not gonna lie, must have been the most hilarious #########

Its better than dramaturgy. That perl actually sucks

Perk*

Its not even useless it’s actually a good perk😭

How does dramaturgy suck?

32 seconds to recover. That's the same efficiency as someone else healing you (2 survivors taking 16 seconds).
Unlike normal healing, recovery is unaffected by Mangled, Hem, etc. So it can outright be more efficient to Plot Twist than have someone else heal you.
Most importantly, it's dumb and funny. Let people have their memes.

I've seen people use this perk to avoid the effects of Jolt or Knockout. In fact, there's a video by Coconut showcasing a guy doing this, which unironically helped the team!
People have used it to hide from the killer and heal fully, when otherwise they would have been caught because of the noise they make.
It's also a handy perk to reset when others are busy and there is no medkit.
Plot Twist is a good perk, not bad.

New pov use it as a hide and heal perk with a sb if you get found

Healing youself with a medkit takes 24 seconds and letting someone to heal you takes 16 seconds. So you can be healed 2 times before you're recovered fully

This perk is something that i as a stealth player have waited for. A lot of maps cant build up enough distance anymore to juke the killer, however, with this perk it just got easier again to lose them in a chase. Yes, you take some time to heal up again, but you safe yourself a hook, which is an important thing.

Constantly getting exposed in chase and the haste doesnt give you distance. Thats how it was for me when i used it. The item part is nice tho

I honestly use it outside chase until I get exposed so I don't get exposed in chase. Hope you have better experiences tho.

Why did you say it twice?

spamming post comment can cause this.

Plot twist is great! I love it when BBQ or Deer Stalker shows me someone taking a nice little nap so I can go over and give them snuggles. 10/10. No notes.

I've been running bond recently and the amount of people just running off to a corner to use it or doing it to troll you (let you come in for the heal then pop up and run off so the killer goes after you) is quite surprising. It's quite a selfish perk which I did not anticipate.

With a tape in hand you can avoid Sadako mori, and you can also deny killer Jolt value. Or just use it to heal yourself I would say that is pretty strong.
0 -
And yet it's still more efficient than self care
1 -
Indeed, as it only takes 23.7 seconds to recover that way.
