Only perks that increases chances of self-unhook or perks that directly allow you to unhook yourself would give the ability to do so? For the rest of Survivors, nobody can self unhook to prevent suicide / killing themselfs on hooks unless you have perks that help you unhook yourself. Do you think that would help?

I think what would help is removing the DC penalty, but you can't play another match until your bot is out of the last game.

I think your idea would help, but then we have people running up to the killer, playing bad on purpose to get caught, etc.

Nah, trying to Kobe provides and extra bit of luck-based excitement. It's also useful for making the endgame shorter by letting survivors die fast to give their teammate a chance at hatch.

Plus, as a killer main I get SOOOOO upset when people kill themselves on hook against my no slowdown M1 killer 😜. Having a nice, easy 3v1 where I can take longer chases and relax a bit is pure agony. It just feels so punishing when survivors decide that my Doctor or Nemo is too OP to even bother playing against.

Your entire second paragraph which is obviously satirical is pure boredom to me.

This gets brought up every now and then and yeah, I agree. They wouldn't even have to go that far, they could just disable hook suicides for the first 30 seconds after getting put on a hook for the first and second survivors hooked - you could still have end of game attempts that way.

if the facecamping changes coming, self unhook is going to be a thing without perks.

Tho I dont know if it will help with using the hook to get out of the game.

will not help. people will just stop playing. everyone is sick of seeing every Wesker, Nurse, Blight game. if you are with random players, you will be beaten and mocked. that's why people try to leave such a match faster without a DC penalty

The same way killers are sick and tired of facing mft+resi+adren builds.

Higher tier killers / "unsavory tactics" are forced when every survivor is running the sweaty meta build of the month.

Killers being forced to endure unfun matches till the end, while survivors are able to hookicide to circumvent is DC penalty is ridiculous.

You queue up for a match , you play the match.

Thats akin to a football team conceding a goal in the first 10 minutes then deciding to go just leave and go home because "it isn't fuuun!11!!"

I myself play killers when there is a bp bonus. I don't see any problems with survs perks, most players are disorganized and try to play with all the killers. as an killer, you don't depend on your teammates, you know?

I find it hilarious that killers are mad about survivors running perks that give them 5-20 seconds extra in chase. While killers are running perks that give them an extra 10-15 minutes of game time every game.
