Isn't it better to buff killers that are below Nurse, Blight, Spirit and Wesker level?
Instead of constantly nerfing them to uselessness so no-one will play them?

Reminder, there are killers other than Trapper, Pig, Ghostface, Freddy and Myers. Just letting you know in case you missed them. I don't think Artist needs any basekit buffs, maybe a change or two regarding her add-ons to get something more original, Plague probably doesn't need anything either, same with Pinhead. You could try those alternatively.

I mean, Blight and Nurse 100% deserve to be nerfed. Which is not happening somehow. Not at all for Blight and at least not in a good way for Nurse.
And if we look at Wesker for example - I think his powerlevel is good.
And now, since you want to buff other Killers... Please tell me how would you buff Trapper, the Killer who needs to pick up his power from the ground so that he is at the same powerlevel like Wesker.

I don't understand why Trapper can't also get his traps from lockers, it wouldn't necessarily buff him but you could play him way more efficiently. Besides you have lockers everywhere on the maps thanks to Dredge.

Cool.
Is he Wesker-Level then? Nope, he isnt. More ideas?

Is it their job to come up with it?
This feels unnecessary.
Do you disagree with buffing trapper to as close to wesker as possible?
Why even have this argument?

How would you do it?
EDIT: The thing is, it is so easy to say "Buff those Killers". But the reality is that it is not possible for the majority of Killers to be buffed to high A-Tier without removing the initial concept of those Killers.
Sure many Killers can be buffed. But saying "Buff those Killers" as if it would be an easy thing to do is just wrong.

How long will it take to nerf the Nurse until she's useless? It's been 7 years and she's still the best lmao

PLS no , nobody likes facing nurse or blights that are sweating and buffing the low tier killer to that level would make the game even more unbalanced , i can already imagine many killers getting buffed to the point that they become unfair to go against and annoying.
S tier killer having too much power on their hands / map design being terrible for low tier killers / unhealthy killer design
are the real issues in this game IMO.
cough cough I still want nurse to be finally mid tier killer already , am tired of her , 7 years at the top of the tier list is just too much already.3 -
Edit- you explained, so I'll remove the beggining here and just answer.
I would give all his traps to him basekit.(I believe max is 8...)
thick grass or equivalent spawning on every map when you play trapper, basically everywhere, with the color of the traps almost matching it to camouflage.
You no longer step on your own traps. They just get disarmed if you do.
Picking a survivor from a trap resets it.
Escaping from a trap now takes a set amount of time, let's say 30 seconds base. 20 if another survivor is saving you.
Trapper can recall disarmed traps from anywhere by looking at them and pressing the ability button (Think thor and mjolnir). If he holds it for a bit, all the disarmed get recalled but takes a bit longer. (As in, more time than pulling 2 one at a time, but starting at 3 it's faster)
Change bag add-ons to affect the time it takes to escape the trap.
Maybe other add-ons would also need change but they aren't coming to me rn.
And there. Trapper is much better while still remaining an easy character to understand for new players (which is important to trapper in particular).
You do not need to walk around to pick your power accross the map, the traps can be hidden in more than 4 or 5 maps, no more trap rng(which makes things simpler), and you don't need to go back to collect or reset old traps.
But only the disarmed ones, if you put a bad trap in the corner and no one interacted with it, that's on you.
Don't know if it reached wesker but I think it reached a good point.

It is very important to be contrarian and make people feel small on the DBD Forums, of course!

Nurse and Blight levels of strength are not good for the game.
6 -
Make all killers same level of Nurse and Blight.
Enjoy with 5 hours killer queues.
If you really believe survivors will stay in game after that change, i have no words

See, those are solid ideas. Way more than usual in Threads like this which are just "Buff Killer X". Those changes would not make Trapper A-Tier, but would help him. I would not agree with all of them (being stuck 30 seconds in a Trap sounds awful, it would not be much different from Honing Stone to be honest, because Trapper would be able to get you from anywhere on the Map. And basically giving him one of his best Add Ons as Basekit... I dont know.
Other things like resetting Traps when grabbing out a Survivor or calling them back sound nice and useful. Especially the latter one, you dont need to walk into corners anymore without a Gen or anything to get a Trap.
I think some solid solutions. And again, more productive than just saying that every Killer should be like Nurse.
I also dont see any problem with some Killers being weaker than others. Especially not if those are the more simple Killers. E.g. I think the powerlevel of Wesker and Wraith is fine. Even tho Wraith is far weaker, he is also way more simple to play and easy to understand. So it is fine that he is weaker than a more complex Killer like Wesker or Blight.
(Of course there are outliers... E.g. Nurse is too easy for what you get. Singularity is too hard for the reward. Just two examples)

They have already addressed this question a number of times. Short answer is no. Long answer is something like:
- Many players like most of the killers just the way they are.
- Not all killers are meant to be equally dangerous.
- It isn't worth the resource cost/time to constantly go back and work on old killers.

you're right. I just said the first number that came up... 12 solo and 8 sec with help is probably enough.
the thing is, I really like trapper, I played a lot of trapper. so I'm very familiar with his issues, including the minor ones. like seeing a survivor in a good trap so you down them, reset the trap and THEN you pick them up, which is just a time waster but usually wastes less time than reseting the trap later.
so I can give a more detailed explanation on a theorical buff than I could on billy or doctor for example. but I still recognize they could use a little something. maybe the shock should go a bit faster to be more reliable and that's enough? maybe also remove the slowdown? feels like enough but idk...
Don't see an issue with some killers being weaker either. but wow the current gap is huge... and nurse should not be the benchmark to strive for.

you want 90% win rate? No

I remember Otz was really triggered when one of devs said that specific killer changes affect around 3% of games, so basically they can't be bothered to focus on it...

What is your problem? So sorry that I treated you like a human being and tried to share ideas/have a convo. Have fun being a buzzkill and grump elsewhere. ✌️
