Why is 3-gen Skull Merchant still a thing?


An average of 25-30 minutes every match depending on how long it takes for survivors to give up. Like 9 every 10 SM play like this. Why is this still a thing? Is this being looked into? Thanks.

    I'm beginning to sound like a broken record on this, but BHVR really needs to release some sort of hotfix that nerfs her ability to do this. At least until her rework is ready. She would be better being weaker than she already is, instead of being able to drag matches on till players fall asleep.

    My Hotfix: Limit any match with the Skunk Merchandiser to 20 minutes. If she hasn't killed you by the time 20 minutes has passed, the game ends and any alive survivors escape. Is it a perfect fix? No. Could BHVR come up with something better? Yes. Would it be better than what we have now? 100%.

    Not a fan of that, people can just hide and win.

    I'd go with the drones. Like giving her a cooldown to place a drone after another one has been hacked. Or maybe remove the condition that survivors can't enter the detection zone if they have bracelets. That way she can't just spam drones and survivors can only watch how the gen regresses. They should be able to enter the zone and hack again.

    Yes, this is still a thing. Her games are so annoying. She wins nearly every time - not because the player is good, but because everyone else is so bored and/or annoyed at the stalled game that they either just give up or hide for hatch). Her games are the literal worst. Please just do away with her. 😒 (takes everything in me not to DC when I see it's her)

    Someone on the forum had an idea that I thought was pretty good. They said to rework her drones similar to Knight's guards and have them do different things. So one can be stationary, another can lock onto a survivor and follow them, and so on. That way they can't just throw all their drones up over gens.

    Well bHVR is implementing a anti three gen function to stop future 3 genners and they are likely going to or doing so atm, reworking it.

    Are there any updates on that? The only thing I heard on a past stream was like "they'll add a new feature" but then no update whatsoever about that.

    Not on Skuller Merchant, reworks take a long time. Play testing to see if bHVR likes how it plays and then finalizing it

    What other feature did you see mentioned on Steam perhaps I can help. In regards to features these are coming:

    1. Face Camping Resolution - aka if face camped the Survivor can unhook themselves.
    2. Killer FOV Sliders
    3. 3 Gen prevention - aka making 3 genning impossible for all Killers.

    These 2 should be with us before New Year if everything goes according to schedule, FOV Sliders early next year.

    There is also a twins rework which should come early next year, assuming Skullface Merchant is after that. Maybe Spring?
