Why garden of joy still isn't being balanced?
The main building is just way too good. It doesn't even require survivors to any kind ofmind game they just vault until it gets blocked and after that no worries because when it gets blocked there are other tiles next to main building. The map is too good even without the mainbuilding. Shack side if full of pallets and tiles that has good windows that might be connected even if it's not connected they are way too close you somehow make it to there withotu much effort. One can keep breaking palllets all game chasing a survivor yet one side will not be a deadzone anyways if survivor isn't stupid.
I can't be the only one who thinks that this map is survivior sided and needs a small rework.

Rebalancing am entire map is likely not a simple process they can just pumped out. If they change the house, you'd have to remake the assest.

Much like the haddonfield map rework they can just go "Hey, GOJ is too unbalanced, we'll killswitch it until we fix it"
if they can't fix the map in a reasonable amount of time, atleast dont force players to endure said map.

Haddonfield was killswitched for a bug and since the rework was coming out soon, it didn't get fixed til the rework.

Somehow devs considered Cowshed and Abattoir were more problematic than Garden of Joy and Borgo which is nonsense.

To be fair, Cowshed was that problematic. Abattoir less so, but I'd imagine they just decided to do that one since they were already tackling a Coldwind map.

It's inly map you can win on soloQ so it should not be reworked. Just 3-4 man swf:s should not able to bring map offerings.

If the map was too unbalanced the devs would have definitely changed it up in some way. The 3gen you are able to contain on this map though is really strong to unbeatable and most likely the reason why the escape rate on this map is probably close to 50% since most killers abuse that. So that is only a problem for killers who dont use the 3gen to their advantage and people who play against 4 man swf

Map isn't new it could've been fixed by now if they've tried to do so. It looks like it is just not their priorities

Skilled Killers have learned how to abuse its weaknesses, and unskilled Killers are met with unskilled Survivors who don't know how to utilize the strengths.
That doesn't mean it isn't stupid, it just means since BHVR predominantly balances around stats, so you win as Killer while being tortured.
This too, I don't trust the current map team. Half of Coldwind is nothing but the tiny tent and 2 crates filler pallets that is only good for killing Nemmy zombies, but even then it takes so long to lure them over I can't even say its good for that.

GoJ is fair so long as we have Midwitch. Borgo is fair so long as we have saloon. Also borgo is very free for a few killers

I really detest when i get this map as killer an feel sympathy for the killers i go against on this map it really is just horrible
