Why in the hell did you add bots if you're not going to remove dc penalties
there is no point in having bots with dc penalty bc the majority of people are just going to give up on hook, and anyways my game keeps goddamn crashing and now i have 24 hours of dc penalty just because of goddamn crashes. And why in the hell are there dc penalties over an hour 30 minutes is enough there's no point in adding all these hours as penalty to a game, how is it a game if i can't even play it.

As it has been said in multiple threads like this.
We play multiplayer games to play with or against other players, being forced to play vs bots or not getting a match at all because people DCd over the smallest of inconveniences wouldn't be healthy for the game.

but it's just crazy they have the penalties up to 24 goddamn hours, makes no godamn sense the limit should at most be 1 hour, preferably 30 minutes, ima just delete the game because i wanna be able to play the game not wait a whole week if my game keeps crashing

and then if so why bother even adding bots? should've just left them on custom game.

Because in case a survivor throws a fit and ragequits atleast the match isn't immediately doomed with a 3 v 1 at 5 gens.
You can argue the maximum dc penalty should be 30m to 1 hour, but thats another topic.

Bots were added so that the remaining 3 players who are still playing still have a chance to win. They were not added as an indicator that it is okay to DC at the slightest inconvenience.
If your DC penalty was accumulated because of the crashes, then it’s a technical or isp issue which should not happen in a standard game of DBD.

You shouldn't be rewarded for DCing
If there's no penalty, then DCing vs stuff u hate and insta going next has no downside

it's still not going to be ok to dc because they lose 2 pips and don't gain any bp, maybe they should just do it so you lose BP instead or lose an extra pip, not have 24 hours dc penalty tbh

I do admit to dcing sometimes, but even tho, more than 1 hour dc makes no sense, they should at least change how it works like, the penalty could be where you have 5 minutes penalty every dc, lose bloodpoints, and lose 3 pips every game you dc, and if they had no pips they could derank if it was a dc, they would keep the same rank if they didn't dc. like having hours without playing is unfair to the people that have bad wifi, the things i just said rn would probably make it better because it'll probably take up 30 minutes or more to make up what you lost and you're still going to be able to play.
Edit: or actually instead of deranking you, if you had 0 pips and very few bp they could make dc penalty take 15 mins, 5 mins for each penalty.

I just realized, this is pretty dumb still, since there is dc penalties people just gonna give up on hook, and it's the same thing, 3v1 scenario

To be fair this patch (and the game at large) is ultra buggy. We have the clown swap bottle bug, the gen trap ghost bug, I had a 5-10 minute loading screen before the game crashed, and more. With how often technical problems are for this game, you would think a DC penalty that is applied on crashes as well would be a bit more lenient.

The bots were not put in place so YOU could dc whenever a match doesn’t suit what you want. It’s so you don’t screw your teammates when you do rage quit.

Should at least make it free to dc against certain purposely overpowered killers where you don't really have a chance at winning like nurse, blight etc in soloq

If you remove DC penalty, then you would have to remove it for everyone (killers and survivors).
Bots are super boring to play against and still not 100% teammates. So whenever there is 1/2 DCs, unless killer is doing challenge, they would leave.
Amount of DCs would increase massively, DBD is game where side with better resources is going to win (most likely). So when other side notice, it's DC...
Bots are not there so people can leave whenever something goes wrong for them.

If giving up on hook is an issue, bhvr could look into removing the interaction altogether apart from self unhook perks.
Just because people give up ingame doesn’t mean it should be ok to dc.

or they could probably do it where they can only take their chances once, it'll do no damage but they'll have 1 or 2% chance of escaping instead of 4
