Premonition buff

Premonition is a weak and situational perk. Maybe it's useful against the Nightmare, the Wraith or the Pig, while in common trials it's quite garbage: you know the killer is somewhere in front of your camera, ignoring their distance and direction and activity. Moreover, you have to wait a lot of time to get a new warning. Instead, Alert grants precise information: through the Aura you know if the killer is patrolling gens or chasing someone, and their exact position, for at least 15 times every trial. Then, Premonition needs a buff to be really viable: at tier 1, you have to wait a cool-down of 60 seconds to know again the killer is within 12 metres in front of you... seriously? I suggest two alternative buffs: the first version only reduces considerably the cool-down, while the second one reduces moderately the cool-down and uses a different icon lighting intensity to give info about the killer's distance.

PREMONITION (first version)
You have the undeniable capability to sense danger.

Get an auditory warning when looking in the direction of the Killer in a 45° cone within a range of 12/24/36 metres.

Premonition has a cool-down of 30/25/20 seconds each time it activates.

Premonition trumps any of the Killer's stealth abilities (except the Shape's Evil Within I).

PREMONITION (second version)
You have the undeniable capability to sense danger.
Get an auditory warning when looking in the direction of the Killer in a 45° cone within a range of 12/24/36 metres: the perk icon lights up brightly if the distance is 0-12 metres, normally if it is 12-24 metres, tenuously if it is 24-36 metres.
Premonition has a cool-down of 40/35/30 seconds each time it activates.
Premonition trumps any of the Killer's stealth abilities (except the Shape's Evil Within I).

I personally think it's fine. In my early days I used it a lot in conjunction with Urban Evasion. The direction gave me a good idea of where to hide and which way to go.

You just decreased the cooldown just as much both times. The tier 3 is the only one that matters as you spend 90% of your time with any given perk with it at tier 3

@NuclearBurrito Thanks for the feedback: I immediately corrected the misprint. :)

I think that, even with either of the buffs you mentioned, Premonition still wouldn't be viable in comparison to the next best alternative, such as Alert.

On top of the already mentioned buffs in your version two of the perk, reducing the cone from 45 degrees to 30 degrees for a more reliable/accurate determination of the killer's position and reducing the cooldown to 10 or 15 seconds at tier 3 would not make it overly powerful, but it would sure go a long way towards improving it. And if the double buff on top of what you already suggested sounds like too much, keep in mind that the detection cone being reduced in size would require a survivor to be more accurate with their aim, making the perk take slightly longer to activate and be slightly harder to use.

Additionally, if a Spirit is haunting, what does Premonition trigger on? The invisible Spirit mid-haunt, her left-behind shell, or both? Out of curiosity.

If you want to write a third version of Premonition buff, or even two or more, I'll add them in the OP, with your credits. :)

Premonition triggers with the real Spirit: it ignores her fake husk.
