The Pig Pen Hangout

Yea, it's back now, sort of. It's run on private servers. NCSoft is aware and at this time they don't care as long as no profit is made. One of the servers is also allegedly in negotiations with them to try to buy the rights, but has been for a few years. Even back when it was first shut down Neil Gaiman and Mercedes Lackey tried to buy the rights but NCSoft allegedly wanted 80 million dollars for the IP and no way even Neil Gaiman can afford that. Too bad Bill Gates wasn't a fan, huh? LOL

Yeah, or another eccentric billionaire like Bezos/Musk. Or a company dealing with MMOs like Funcom. That is a shame. If they rereleased it now in 2023 on a more modern engine and keep a lot of those same features like character creation, base building, and demo record, it could be better than DCUO.
0 -
True, though they really don't care anymore. At least they aren't going after the private servers, as long as they don't run for profit.

Hopefully you are in good spirits. The mood in the forums seems to be pretty low right now.

Yes, all is well. Likewise. It is rather quiet in general today.

I taught a baby Pig how to boop a snoot. It took the entire match but they finally crouched for the boop. It's like swimming with dolphins. The moment will forever be etched into my memory as one of the the proudest moments of my life.
I did plead for my teammate's safety, but Madam Pokers demanded three deaths π
3 -
That video was so wholesome. She didn't know what to do with the Boop. She was all, "Is this for me? π"
Also that's so me just standing there....MENACINGLY.. with the stain on surv back as they open the gate.
I'll admit, it took me longer than it should to realize you were playing Haddie and not Rebecca. Looked like Becky from the back until you turned around
1 -
Like y'all don't understand I will let a last surv out from time to time, but I rarely let them in on it. Even if I'm farming I like to rough them up some throughout the match just to keep them on their toes while I'm going for 12-hooks or whatever... Like, yeah I'm not going to kill you but YOU DONT KNOW THAT. So the Pig just standing there, watching you open gate warms a piece of me.
2 -
I'm assuming this is you then π€£
1 -
busted π
1 -
I'll be keeping an eye out for a suspect porkchop then ππ
1 -
If its an all bloody pig acting kinda sus then it could be me. That's the main cosmetic I run on her other than Pig Leather.
1 -
How do you do, fellow pigs?
0 -
Almost all the Pigs I meet have the standard cosmetic with no blood. Probably explains why I get stabbed in the face so much when I try to boop.
Hello.
I'm not a Pig, just a massive fan.
0 -
Yo
0 -
You would think the early boop at the beginning of the match would be the safest and most non-hostile time to do it, but apparently not. lol.
1 -
I hate to think what my teammates are saying when I'm kamikaze booping non stop.
0 -
It's probably best to leave some stones unturned π . Just Getcha' Pull on some snoot boops.
1 -
As a Spirit main I apologize for invading your Pig Pen, but..
I have a letter from the developers listing the next pig nerfs you're receiving next patch.
Apologies! π
~ List Of Pig Nerfs ~
- The Pig no longer has a snoot.
- The pig no longer has a hidden blade.
- All of the pigs add-ons are being removed.
- The Pig is now hookable by the survivors.
0 -
Devs are fired π
2 -
Sorry to mention, there's a part two letter I have that I didn't notice until now, I don't even think I should say the changes..
0 -
Humor me, what does it say?
0 -
Okay, here goes nothing..
~ Final Pig Nerf List ~
- We made the pig go extinct.
- The reverse bear traps don't exist anymore.
These changes should make the game much healthier. To improve gameplay even further along with these pig nerfs, were buffing Blight's Alchemist Ring and Compound 33.

Daaaamn. No RBT would be her death instantly. This change will be the villainous origin story of so many new SM mains.
Dang Spirit mains and their cursed news.

Hello I'm hear to join my fellow pigs.

This is basically the dialogue I have in my head every time I see a Pig
1 -
Okay, that was pretty funny π

Hey isn't there like a new Saw movie next Friday? ( Λ ΝΚ Λ)
0 -
Yeah Saw X is what it's being called at the moment by fans. I'm very excited. Maybe if we're lucky we'll se a rise inn pigs for the weekend or something just maybe.
1 -
Yes. Hoping for new pig cosmetics π€

Just got my hands on a copy of BG3, family. Pray that my ancient computer from 2015 can handle it without any costly upgrades.
1 -
I will be so happy if we do. Amanda needs some love. This might bring her some attention.

Day 237 - Water supplies are running mighty low. Thought we spotted a Pig in the bushes, but it was jus a Meg in a pig mask. Not sure how much longer we can survive out here. If you find this, tell our families, that we always hated em.
1 -
Oh yea, I do have my black jacket, I just don't always wear it. When I do, I am usually all friendly until...
1 -
Until...many pig codes of conduct were broken... xD

Dear all Pig mains, we must discuss Saw X if we watch it!! I'm seeing it tomorrow instead on Friday, veryyy excited!!
2 -
Yes, feel free to discuss. I only ask to leave the spoilers at the cinema πππ . Some of us won't be able to see it until later π₯.
1 -
Yes I can't see it for a while probably till it comes out on Prime or something. Whoevers seeing it tommorow or over the weekend enjoy.
1 -
There's a saw sale on Tapp and pig and their cosmetics!!! Not a new outfit but I'll take it
1 -
i haven't watched the saw movies, to be perfectly honest. would someone watch them with me? :)
1 -
That's a possibility for sure. Do you have Peacock? They have all the movies but Spiral. We could meet up on Discord or something and chat while we watch. :D
0 -
i have peacock, yeah! i also have discord. :) i'd be down to watch !! i'll dm you my discord
0 -
What order are you watching them in, by release or chronological? Personally, I'd go 1 first eitherway if I was watching it for the first time. Jigsaw (2017) is more of a love letter to longtime fans.

Didn't know fellow Pig mains had a hangout area.π€© Better late than never I suppose. π·
Nice to see other Pig mains besides the rare ones I friend in-game. Sup everyone?
Little about my journey as an Amanda main:
Been playing DBD since early 2017, 4000+ hrs in this crazy game currently, π and I've been a Pig main since her release in 2018, which was a day after my bday actually (Jan 22nd).π Before that I mained Myers in 2017 (my absolute top horror Icon). When I found out about her gameplay mechanics being stealth and head traps, I knew she was gonna be my main with Myers. After Ghostface was released I just came to terms with myself that I'm a stealth player of the licensed stealth trinity (Ghost, Pig, Shape).
You'll normally find me being playful with survivors in a majority of my games, unless the survivors are being rude to Amanda and not booping her snoot. π½I very rarely play add-ons (I'm a collector ok? lol). I, oddly enough, find myself usually going in and out of crouch as I traverse the map... idk, it's a subconscious habit for whatever reason. Probably my ADHD or something.
Well, that just about sums it up. How's that Saw X movie? I've been busy as of late so I haven't seen it yet, most likely will see it tomorrow; I did hear that it was the best SAW movie since 1 and 2, so that got me hyped.
Hope to see you in the fog receiving ALL the boops!
2 -
Hello and welcome to the party, Atsuka. It's our small slice of paradise in the off-topic wastelands of the forum. Good to have another DBD veteran among us. I see you play pig, but I don't meet many friendly ghosties; a rare sight. Amanda's blessings upon you π
